Looking at Knight's realgm page, it says that the Celtics ended the 2-way contract of nathan Knight. A couple days later, the Maine Celtics signed him..then a couple days later, the Maine Celtics traded him to some other G league team..he's been playing for that g league team ever since.
Why would Knight want that? Why would he want to go from being on a 2-way contract with the Boston Celtics, to having just a g league contract with some g league team? He's in a worse position now.
I think the celtics chose to move on from Knight - they wanted to get someone else in that 2-way spot..perhaps they already had their eyes on Drew Peterson..
Also, Scrubb was only waived because he tore his ACL and was out for the year.
I'm not sure how much (if any) mutual interest there is between Queta and the celtics on signing him to any type of contract beyond the contract he currently has.
