Winning while beardless Verdugo's pop up to in front of the 150 ft warning track trolling Yankee fans just made my day.

Wait, Springer led off with a double and we didn't score?

Well, a win's a win, I suppose.
With that, the worst we can finish on this 10 game roadtrip is 4-6, which is about what you'd expect as a result if you were playing against evenly matched teams as the visitor.
Still, winning this series would be great. Onto tomorrow!

Well, Vlad and Bichette are hitting behind him. What could be expected?

I have never seen Bo look this consistently bad at the plate and Vlad isn't too far behind him in unserious ABs so far either. A 4-4 record is miraculous so far.

Guerrero costing himself hundreds of millions with every passing year. I remember there was talk at the start of 2023 that he was gonna get 400 million over 8 years. Right now, i wouldnt give him 40 million over 8 years.

Hitters go through tough spells but what is the coaching staff doing about it?
If you have bad offensive seasons with offensive coaches, you don't keep them around for future seasons. Of course it is up to hitters to have their own approaches and use their skills too but the coaches are there to help when things aren't going right. The fact they aren't going THIS right for vlad and bo is as much as an indictment of them as the coaching staff.
Vlad and Bo could be rested for two triple A players. Horwitz and Barger come to mind.
Anyway, the early and last season results of Schneider and Clement should clue in this clueless organization that more Triple A players should be on the roster relative to the Vogelbachs, Biggios, Varshos and especially IKFs we currently feature. KK and Springer can be given more days off. I don't care about Springer's contract.
They have a lot of trouble just giving up on who needs to be given up on. Or at least giving starting spots based on complete results as a baseball player not just defensive stats. reputation, MLB experience. Especially if that player was one of their own acquisitions.

They must be the type of coaches that say "Keep doing the same thing, it will work eventually"

They could be worse..... They may induce an approach of hitting to all fields which is away from the strengths of the hitters. That is the conjectured approach of Don Mattingly. Guillermo? Who knows what that guy does.

You know that old Raptor meme of Calderon being here forever? Well, let me introduce you to the Guillermo meme. That's right, we're building around Guillermo! All in!
Honestly, on any other team he would have been fired a couple years ago. Your generational hitting talent is largely a flop. Your stud SS hitting prospect goes three straight months unable to hit. Your lineup regularly crumbles to mush when facing a borderline competent pitcher. Great pitchers? Forget about it, no chance. What front office witnesses this and says great job? And I'll say it again, it's not like this guy had an incredible hitting career or coaching career before inexplicably getting this job. Why are they cutting this guy so much slack?
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

It's one of those unsolvable mysteries. For great Jays they have a wall of excellence. Guillermo can go on the wall of flatulence.
I'd also throw in Luis Rivera on that too for all of his longevity despite boneheaded sends.
