They did. But when the other team is shooting 3s at 50% and you're shooting it at 24%, and you can't get stops...well.

Did you watch the 1st quarter? It's clear Magic weren't ready to play. The starters were sleepwalking to begin the game.

I dunno. Every run we make this season is when he’s not in the game.

It’s not. The Magic just have not tried very hard tonight.

They were trying in the second half, they simply couldn't stop them.

They only were able to sustain pressure for short while, they couldn’t sustain it because weren’t focused.

Knightro wrote:Like for all the stuff we say about the Magic lacking shooters and all that, that's all true, but the biggest issue offensively by a wide margin is the fact that Paolo is just wildly inefficient offensively.

Until he upticks that, they just won't be good offensively.

Are we better offensively without him?

Ummm yeah we watched it... Miller had 9/9 FG and 5 of them were all 3 pointers. He just destroyed our defense.

Franz is whole hell of a lot closer to being an acceptable No. 2 than Paolo is to being an acceptable No. 1.

Care to substantiate why?

Paolo is nowhere close to being efficient enough to justify his current usage.

I'm not suggesting he can't get there or will never get there, but when your 29 USG% is a .549 TS% player, you're not going to have a good offense.

And to think people worry about a bringing in PGs because it’ll take away usage from Paolo….

That’s the whole idea because he’s not ready for it and we struggle when he’s not on point.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Yet other lottery teams figure out how to run more efficient offenses somehow. I blame Mosley for a lot of what he allows to happen. Yes, the roster doesn't mesh well but Paolo should not be dribbling the air out of the ball 35 feet away from the basket. He's not Luka.

Most of the runs occur when the bench is in.

See I know you are smart enough to get what I’m saying as opposed to others.

Paolo isn’t being utilized correctly as a first option. The Front Office needs to do their god damn job.

Problem is... i think he wants to be. He could go chuck mode to be a scorer but yet he tries to be LBJ/Luka by doing this ish.

Maybe it the FO allowing him to do so since its still his 2nd year.

Paolo is inefficient, but I can't get upset with the guy when he is getting double and triple team. However, when he misses point blank near the rim, that's when I get frustrated. That happens way to often. If he can figure that out, he'll be fine.

I didn't see Larger Lawyer anywhere on the floor watching the Magic, so that's probably why we lost.

I don't remember the last time he missed a game.

I don't think he cares about his average to be honest.
