You can agree with him. I don’t.

It will probably come down to Maxey and Brunson for that last spot on the All-NBA teams, and my guess is Brunson will get it because of the Knicks season. Personally, I am good with it for salary cap reasons - it will take up an extra chunk of the Sixers cap space if he makes an All NBA team.

That ain’t 10th.

And he’s only 23. Brunson will be 28 in August.

Maxey is a tier below Brunson.

You forgot to add “in my opinion”.

Happy to help.

(and Maxey is 4 years younger, too)

It's their defence. Giving the Wolves way too many good/open looks on the Perimeter.

They missing Vanderbilt badly for teams like The Wolves who shoot well from down town

Yup no Vando hurts and no Vincent even tonight (b2b)

Lebron is still a plus defender overall as well

This summer if we dont go star shopping, I would love a 1/2 or 2/3 who is a solid defender and can close vs certain teams with 1 of Reaves or Dlo in the backcourt instead of both

But the question is, who is that guy?

TBF the #s/metrics support that opinion.

Maxey:
25.5pts (57.1% TS), 3.7reb, 6.3ast (27.1%), +3.5 EPM, +1.87 DARKO, +2.89 LEBRON, +5.2 On-OFF

Brunson:
28.0pts (58.8% TS), 3.6reb, 6.7ast (33.3%), +5.6 EPM, +3.71 DARKO, +2.86 LEBRON, +11.0 On-OFF

Rui at center? Ham should be fired on the spot.

Naz Reid has 20 in the 1st half, just like last time we played them....is this the same guy who scored 8 pts vs the Suns the other night?

Ham really took out Hayes with Gobert and Reid in and expected it to be okay. Just think about that…

De'Aaron Fox of the east

He's way better than Fox. Just as fast, but a much better shooter on volume.

He’s best as a number 2 option.

Not the most efficient night to score 50.

Is he one of the best guards? I don’t think he’s in the top 6-8 range. But he’s close in that 9-10 range.

Dude played HOW MANY MINUTES on the second night of a road back-to-back, shot almost 50% from the field, and you think he’s like the TENTH best guard in the league? Really?

53 minutes. ONE turnover.

Classic RealGM - you guys can’t hammer Embiid cause he didn’t play, so Maxey catches strays.

Never change, guys.

He's up there with shai but just a tier below definitely way better than fox though.

KG Leonard wrote:I'm more surprised by the fact Maxey shined so brightly beside Embiid but he sees now it takes much more to lead a team to wins when you are the best player and a true playoffs all-star. Why has Philly not even won at .500 record when he was the only star after Embiid injury ??

He needs to prove more in playoffs compared to other star guards who were great in the playoffs. I trust Brunson more to carry his team than Maxey as the nr.1.

Because Maxey was the only above average player on the team. Harris is terrible, Oubre is good but inconsistent. That's it. This team is essentially Maxey and Embiid, and they had the highest winning percentage in the league with those two on the court apart from Boston.
