TBF the #s/metrics support that opinion.

Maxey:
25.5pts (57.1% TS), 3.7reb, 6.3ast (27.1%), +3.5 EPM, +1.87 DARKO, +2.89 LEBRON, +5.2 On-OFF

Brunson:
28.0pts (58.8% TS), 3.6reb, 6.7ast (33.3%), +5.6 EPM, +3.71 DARKO, +2.86 LEBRON, +11.0 On-OFF

Those numbers are skewed because the Knicks are far better without Randle/Robinson/OG, than the Sixers are without Embiid.

Take a look at the metrics before Embiid went down. The Sixers are a lottery team, and Maxey is the only thing keeping them afloat without Embiid. The Sixers lost Maxey for 4 games, and they lost all 4 games.

I swear AD has been hit in the face 4 times in the past month. We lost two critical games because of it. That’s the 6 seed.

There may be some noise coming in since the injuries hit...Brunson's assist are up without Randle to share the creative burden, and his On-Off has ballooned with us now generally losing the minutes he rests...but Jalen has been the better (& more efficient) scorer and had the better EPM/DARKO (by a meaningful margin) pretty much all season.

Not sure about their LEBRON's; only started checking that around the new year.

There's also the argument that the post-injury Knicks have been better than the post-injury 6ers because Brunson is a higher tier player than Maxey. Given that both have been their team's only primary creators since losing their star bigman.

Damn man Warriors got a chance to tie the Lakers Tuesday. After all the great play theyve had, they can easily be 10th with like 3 games left in the season.

Is he done for the night? Seems like a must win game. If he passed concussion protocols, I'd want him out there.

Well I mean Lebron is out with a cold/flu (likely also tired from a b2b and fell into the camera man and didnt look the same) and AD missed the whole 2nd Q with the eye poke

We need to win out here to even have a chance at the 6 or 7th seed

I think we should win out tbh

We get GS at home. You guys are always a wildcard due to having Curry and Klay, but I like our chances with our size and being at home

At memphis. They just sat out JJR and Bane, so I better not see those guys play vs us. Should be a win regardless though

Lakers at Pelicans may determine our seeding for the final game. If BI is still out too, I just dont see why we shouldn't win that game

Oh no doubt. Most of the Association does these days. They have long memories, and this is payback time.

Again without Embiid the Sixers are ass. The Knicks are performing well because of Brunson yes. But Hart has been incredible, so has DiVincenzo. They also have Bojan and Alec Burks. The Sixers have no one of that calibre. Oubre at best, but he's far more inconsistent than those two.

Dennis Scott reported he's done for the night. His eye is swollen.

Wolves clearly are the 2nd best team in the West whom are still being slept on, not regarded a legit title contenders by many here.

Because there's usually a learning curve in the playoffs, and none of them have won anything. Same for OKC.

I mean Conley's won some playoff series, but Kat and Ant have won squat.

You can agree with him. I don’t.

It will probably come down to Maxey and Brunson for that last spot on the All-NBA teams, and my guess is Brunson will get it because of the Knicks season. Personally, I am good with it for salary cap reasons - it will take up an extra chunk of the Sixers cap space if he makes an All NBA team.

That ain’t 10th.

And he’s only 23. Brunson will be 28 in August.

Maxey is a tier below Brunson.

Hahahahhahahahahahah!

Have fun crashing out of the playoffs.

Tell me when you guys win a chip. Ya'll not that much better in the playoffs. Only against the Sixers. Average at best against every other team. But yeah this is the year when your core is the same, and you have playoff choker Jrue.
