Besides Embiid is there a player who flops as much as Reaves? Its astonishing the calls he gets. He gets a better whistle than many superstars in the league including **** Lebron

And yet Harris is still giving Maxey more help than Brunson has gotten from any knick offensively, this season, since Randle went down.

If players who have been better in the past are playing worse with Maxey taking over as your #1 than historically inferior players are playing with Brunson taking over as our #1...doesn't that kinda prove that Brunson is getting more out of less since injuries hit both teams?
Plus Harris still giving you 15.9ppg over your last 15...dunno how to get his #s specifically since Embiid went down.

That's not true. DiVincenzo has had a much better season than Tobias Harris. So has Josh Hart.
DDV may be outscoring Harris since the injuries...not sure how to find #s between specific dates...and Harris may be disappointing expectations, but on the season Donte is at 15.2ppg, Hart is at 9.1ppg, and Harris is at 17.2ppg.

It is bizarre, because there are a couple Lakers players who get some pretty lame ticky tack calls, but on the flipside, LeBron could get mauled by a grizzly bear and the refs would look the other way.

You keep on going with season numbers. THe whole discussion has been since both teams respective stars went out injured.
DiVenzo and Hart have been stellar, while Harris has been horrible, as has Buddy Hield.
Take a look at the post all star splits, and it's clear as day which team has had the better two players. This isn't even an argument.

Not the most efficient night to score 50.
Is he one of the best guards? I don’t think he’s in the top 6-8 range. But he’s close in that 9-10 range.
Dude played HOW MANY MINUTES on the second night of a road back-to-back, shot almost 50% from the field, and you think he’s like the TENTH best guard in the league? Really?
53 minutes. ONE turnover.
Classic RealGM - you guys can’t hammer Embiid cause he didn’t play, so Maxey catches strays.
Never change, guys.
GB and everyone hates the Sixers.
I think we just hate you.

What #s are you using to support the argument that Brunson is getting more offensive support than Maxey? Since the ASB:
DiVincenzo - 19.0 ppg
Oubre - 17.6 ppg
Harris - 15.9 ppg
Hart - 12.3 ppg
Hield - 10.3 ppg
Bojan - 10.1 ppg
Burks - 5.5 ppg
You tried to hype Bojan & Burks for us, so it's pretty hypocritical to ignore that Harris is outscoring the two of them combined...
EDIT:
Forgot Deuce, he's at 13.2 ppg since the ASB...though that's just been the past month or so, he didn't break double digits for a month until march.

Look at my first post, I said you guys had Divincenzo and Hart who performed better than Harris and Hield. I then said that Bojan and Burks are also good. I might have been wrong on Bojan and Burks, but not the other two.
I never said it was just about scoring. Both DiVincenzo and Hart are far better defenders. Hard is also averaging 9 boards and 6 assits, which Harris and Hield can only dream of. News flash contributions are more than just points.
Also take into account DiVincenzo's 3 points numbers, and compare it to the guy who has the greatest 3 point shooters in league history. Since joining the Sixers he's been a shell of himself.

eyeatoma wrote:cgf wrote:TBF the #s/metrics support that opinion.
Maxey:
25.5pts (57.1% TS), 3.7reb, 6.3ast (27.1%), +3.5 EPM, +1.87 DARKO, +2.89 LEBRON, +5.2 On-OFF
Brunson:
28.0pts (58.8% TS), 3.6reb, 6.7ast (33.3%), +5.6 EPM, +3.71 DARKO, +2.86 LEBRON, +11.0 On-OFF
Those numbers are skewed because the Knicks are far better without Randle/Robinson/OG, than the Sixers are without Embiid.
Take a look at the metrics before Embiid went down. The Sixers are a lottery team, and Maxey is the only thing keeping them afloat without Embiid. The Sixers lost Maxey for 4 games, and they lost all 4 games.
eyeatoma wrote:cgf wrote:
There may be some noise coming in since the injuries hit...Brunson's assist are up without Randle to share the creative burden, and his On-Off has ballooned with us now generally losing the minutes he rests...but Jalen has been the better (& more efficient) scorer and had the better EPM/DARKO (by a meaningful margin) pretty much all season.
Not sure about their LEBRON's; only started checking that around the new year.
There's also the argument that the post-injury Knicks have been better than the post-injury 6ers because Brunson is a higher tier player than Maxey. Given that both have been their team's only primary creators since losing their star bigman.
Again without Embiid the Sixers are ass. The Knicks are performing well because of Brunson yes. But Hart has been incredible, so has DiVincenzo. They also have Bojan and Alec Burks. The Sixers have no one of that calibre. Oubre at best, but he's far more inconsistent than those two.
So I brought up their offensive #s & impact stats...which try to account for team-mates...and you responded by saying that those offensive #s were skewed because Brunson had more support after the injuries than Maxey did. Seems reasonable to continue focusing on their team-mates offensive contributions, no?
And my bad for misreading. Your wording wasn't clear so I thought you were saying that you had no one of Bojan or Burks' caliber.
