Sh-Atkins wants kudos for trying to get Ohtani.They continue to go after big time guys in the off season they know will not want to come/sign here,and expect gratitude.Then they jack up the prices anyways.They must think we are stupid or have no choice.

It was the right move to bench Varsho, who is basically Bradley Zimmer 2.0 right now. I also would have liked to see Cavan Biggio or IKF benched for Clement, but I guess that was too much to ask.

They didn't want to bore the home fans. Guess all the wood chopping hasn't bear fruit yet. This guy needs to soon turn it around, or he's just going to be defensive replacement type. We need him to be a key piece on both ends, not just one.
