Giannis and Dame still look to have almost no chemistry together. There was a point where it looked like they were gelling but it's mostly been two dudes who are still unsure of what the other wants to do. Pretty disappointing.

Still think we could beat anyone in a series if the big three is available, but at this point I'd expect sometime in the first round for a light to fall from the rafters and land directly on Khris.

Well, we officially cant be in play-in. So our options are:
#2
#3
#4
#5
#6
I hope for #6 honestly.
#4 and #5 play Boston in 2nd round and you want to avoid Boston as long as posible (they could have injuries after first 2 rounds)
#3 play against #6 and that could be Sixers (or Miami)
#2 play against #7 and that will be Sixers or Miami
Give me #6 all day
Rest Giannis, Dame and Khris against Orlando (both games). Thats all.

Yes there are a handful of us. Along with every single sportsbook... I wouldn't be surprised to see our odds to win East go up if we don't match up with 76ers/Heat 1st round.
We can almost control our own destiny now with 2 games against the Magic. We're in the ideal spot.

You simply can't hide 4 bad defenders (Dame, Beas,Khris, Brook) under Giannis wings.
As I have said early, bench Beas,Khris,Brook
Starters:
Dame,AJ Green, Crowder, Giannis, Portis
2nd Squad:
PatBev,Beas,Khris,Galo,Brook
This is the fix that nobody has the balls to make it.

It looks like they are getting worse together. It may just be the fact that neither Dame or Giannis are a real threat to make 3 pointers

No, it's on Giannis and the coaches ... Giannis never sets good picks, he hates contact at the pick n roll, this is why we haven't seen the Dame Giannis pick n roll work as it should. Instead of Dame getting a separation from his opponent with the pick ... all the misstimed picks, the early fake picks and rolls from Giannis, create a lane jam for Dame to operate. That leads to turnovers since we run a flawed scheme. Bring Steven Adams for example to play pick n roll with Dame and you will see a huge difference.

Yeah, that's what we would do when we were a 6th-8th seed and would hope to get a favorable matchup to maybe win a series but more likely just have the series go 6 or 7 games. No contender Is going let's drop a seed or two so we can avoid this matchup in the 1st round.

The likely 7 & 8 seed this year are not normal... Huge outlier year and no it's not crazy to try and dodge a slog it out 7 game series in the first round...

Every 7-game series is going to be a slog fest with this team anyways, so I don't think it really matters who they play. I get the strategy to try and make it "easier" in the early rounds but I was never a fan of trying to dodge your way to a title.

Why do people continue to make excuses for Dame. Jrue performed much better with Giannis setting these bad screens and Bledsoe probably did as well. At least in the regular season. Dame is probably the first person in the league to get less efficient playing next to Giannis. More than likely Dame is probably a significantly overrated player hiding in Portland all these years occasionally making a buzzer beating logo shot that looks cool on sports center while giving up more points than he actually created.

Hard disagree on that. Playoffs is all about matchups. We would sweep or gentleman's sweep the Magic, unfortunately that's not an option to face them anymore. Knicks we will handle in 5-6 same as the Cavs. Heat/76ers are almost guaranteed to be 6-7 game series and we would have the lesser coach vs those 2.

Hard disagree all you want; I don't see how you can confidently say we would gentleman's sweep anybody right now. This team can be beat by anybody at any given time and trying to avoid matchups is a fools errand.

I'm going to ask fans obsessed with "macho power" to forget about 2021 title. We would never won it if we hadn't been extremely lucky with injuries to other teams. Not only Harden and Kyrie but also Simmons losing his manhood that year. And no way Suns play in that finals if not for all that injuries at west (AD, Murray, Kawhi, and all Warriors).
This team would have 0 rings now if not for luck. So yes, I hope we have luck again. Only way we win is that.

I think it's more GA choosing not to than that he can't handle it physically... all the guys with Nash would just get a hip brush or even no contact as long as the defender changed course and they were gone rolling. dudes that look for a lot of contact are going to be held and late on the roll and can only pop for 3 like Brook.

Playoffs? You're talking bout playoffs?
With efforts like these taking day offs?
This the only decorum
For our gloomy forum
All the optimists scoffed at as way-offs.
Amid all the 3D chess and pessimism, here's a thought: Boston likes us at the 2 to soften up Embiid so tanks tomorrow to keep us there.
Or things just happen as they happen, and to win a championship you have to go through everybody. Tough call.
