I'm surprised the Suns aren't better than they are.

At best they catch Memphis for the 7th spot and 31.9% odds at top 4. It has to be demoralizing to be a Utah fan, watching Ainge put together try-hard 1st half teams then dismantle them for a mid-lotto pick year in year out.

Same thing he did here, kind of tanked one year then kind of quit on tanking mid-year after that.

Big question moving forward though, do they move Markkanen and really tank next year with legit high end prospects or keep the cycle going.

It either slows him down or their offense will be disrupted.

53+ minutes at PG with one turnover is pretty wild.

That's because the Spurs don't guards like White and Jrue.

they'd be tied for 3rd in the East with their current record, but yeah. I almost feel bad for KD, but can't quite. Even though Beal is having a bounce-back good shooting season, he's still a net negative in BPM (-0.5), continuing his career-long trend of not being a winning basketball player. Good thing we didn't trade Jaylen Brown for him! (I am aware that Beal and Tatum are friends;)

Longer-term, they've got to be kind of screwed, right? I mean, rich owner, and hot weather might help, but it seems like their 'all in' move is unlikely to pay off. Coming into the season, I was as worried about them as a Finals opponent as anyone.

All KD had to do was tell the Nets to trade him to Boston for Jaylen Brown.

Now, KD will be remembered as someone who couldn't win a chip without Steph Curry.

Their record in games KD plays is like 71%.
Let me roll this back. They just aren't very good. They only played 7 games without KD and they are 5-2. I guess having 3 stars and no roleplayers is just as bad as the Nets plan of having only roleplayers.

If I want to survive the office tomorrow I should probably root for the Boilers since I have 3 Purdue grade within a fart’s smell of my office. Personally don’t have a horse in this race but Sorry northeastern homies!

I don't call out other posters. So I won't name him but it is laughable to think that Kornet could be anywhere near as good as Edey's potential..

So is it still the case you "can't win with Luka"?

If UConn and Maine win, I'll take that as a sign that it is New England's year and Boston is also meant to win, so said the basketball gods.

Spoiler:
If one or both don't win, I'll take that as a sign that the basketball gods owe New England and Boston is meant to win.

Yeah, I want this back, even if it's just the playoffs. But fans too lame to not wear the shirts.
