T’Vondre Sweat gets a DUI. Just impossibly stupid.

Love me some Ray Davis. Kid is a complete 3 down back imo. He’s got great balance and vision, rarely goes down on 1st contact, can catch and has breakaway speed to hit a home run. He’s a day 2 guy for me, I’d love to get him in the offense behind Jacobs and our oline.

One of my least favorite RBs in this class. Cool story but I really don't want to draft him unless it's like round 6 or 7

Ray Davis is fine. Will Shipley is better though.

$5 says we draft Sweat along with one of Barton or Christian Haynes. Sweat'll fit right in with the fan base, the track record of some of our senators etc

Agreed.

He will drop some/many spots in the draft, and probably lose more salary than hiis combined fines and remedial stuff(courses, insurance, ubers up the wazoo, etc,) but he'll still get drafted.

If he manages to learn from this dumb-shittery, then whoever does select him may be happy in the end. Moderate-risk, potential high-reward

Well you can cross DeJean off the likely list now since it would probably take trading up 10-12 spots to get him at minimum

A man of his carriage would have to rack up a hefty bar bill to get faded enough for the upstanding law enforcement community in Travis County to pull him over.

There's a lot of good RB options on day 3. Packers will have a nice crop of guys to pick from. I'm still intrigued by some of the non-power five runners in Laube and Isaiah Davis. And Kimani Vidal looks pretty nice, and his pass pro is top notch. Ray Davis, Shipley, Rasheen Ali... lots of depth at the back end.

Picking Shipley before round five or ahead of about ten other backs in this class would be a mistake.

That's the point. 5th-round is about where I have him and that's where he'll be a steal. He can be a perfect compliment to Jacobs. Aaron Jones vibes.

Lol that’s fair. I like the way Davis runs, it reminds me of what Mahomes said about Pacheco running like he’s mad at the ground. Davis seems like he has elite vision hitting holes and the ability to bounce off tackle and hit the corners. Obviously highlights are gonna show all the good plays and most of Davis’s stats came from the Florida game he ran for almost 3 bills and looked like Gale Sayers so maybe the overall body of work last season is skewed but I like what I’ve seen from him overall.

Brooks is really the only RB I'm enamored with in any of the first 2-3 rounds. Irving is completely off my board with those athletic testing numbers, Corum just seems like a meh prospect living off his college production, and both Benson and Wright are classic one-cut backs even if they're crazy fast and powerful athletes. They'll need to draft at least one guy, but it's not a high priority for me with this class.

Brooks, Braelon, Vidal, and Tracy Jr. are the backs I'd be looking at.
