I don't think they could have won this even if Edey went for 50.

They have to figure it out, posting up down 17 won’t help them.

lol figure what out? what can you do out there if you can't?

Game over then, posting up is not winning you this game.

Huskies only 5 turnovers, they're just too efficient.

Definitely didn't expect a blowout from either team.

This speaks to UConn’s dominance imo. Purdue has been smacking teams all season and they’re down by almost 20.

I think that says more about the state of men’s college basketball.

Purdue made a decision (probably a good one) not to try and run with UConn. They just couldn't get enough stops.

surprising since UCONN pretty much only blows teams out in the tournament the past 2 years

Purdue only 5 3pt shots just tells the story.

If Spencer could have been traded to Purdue for whoever then it might have been a great game.. But whatever...

I really don’t watch college ball but I feel like Purdue don’t face many teams with size hence their dominance. All they do is give it to Edey.

yeah just ridiculous and they have nobody that can attack a close out either so they can just sell out on stopping the shot from even going up.

They don’t for sure and their supporting cast has been very good all year. It’s just that lawyer and the rest of the guards feel like a JV team against this UConn team. Gillis has also done 0 and he’s been a key piece.

Initial D was fine, they just got killed by UCONN's guards on the glass. They have over 10 offensive boards from their backcourt and wings.

Man, purdue was supposed to be a pretty good 3pt shooting team and can't get nothing dropping against uconn....i mean you're down big and post ups are not a fast way to get you back into the game

Nah, sometimes dominant teams just emerge. We've seen it before, with Florida for example. Huskies have like 4 guys who'll go in the first round. But they have no 5 star recruits for next year so unless they kill it on the transfer front, you'll see them drop down to earth next year.

Yeah, I think that is the case. All they do is just take advantage of Edey’s height.
