Win out and get at least 3rd seed.
Who ever is in charge of scheduling should be fired.
Playing same team 3 times in last 6 games is insane.

With OG and Mitch back and everybody ready to make up for our last loss against them, this is how we should handle the Bulls-hit:

Even though our first round matchup may be tougher we need to move up to #2 or #3 to avoid Boston 2nd round. Ya never know what will happen in the course of the playoffs. These Bulls games are must wins.

I expect a 20 point beating of the Bulls.

The word "Avoid" should not be in the official Knicks team vernacular. :D

This is incorrect. If the Knicks win out they will be at least 3rd because Milwaukie and Orlando play each other twice.

Bucks wins twice or split -> Knicks guaranteed over Orlando
Orlando wins twice -> Knicks guaranteed over Milwaukie

And that's without considering tiebreaker, which I haven't bothered to check.

It's a tough task but we control our own destiny.

If Knicks win out, the worse they can finish is 3, not 4...

No because if Orlando wins out that would mean Milwaukee HAS TO be 2-2 since they play each other twice. Knicks winning out would mean they would pass Milwaukee under that scenario at minimum and they have the tie breaker over everyone beneath them at the moment.

ah ok got it that makes sense i completely disregarded they play each other twice, best they would finish is 49-33 in that scenario, yes we’d pass them then

If Orlando wins out they have beaten the Bucks twice and if the Knicks win out they leapfrog MIL in this scenario so they're the 3rd seed.

Edit: All I had to do is scroll one post further to see this was addressed..
