Tre stutter fake and burst drive for the open layup.

He's good at finding openings.

Then Branham finding another opening for a layup.

This is exactly what we need after 79 games and maybe 20 wins is to watch Champaigne brick another wide open three in garbage time...........

4TH Q: SPURS 102 GRIZZLIES 87

Ok. We pulled through. For reasons gump mentioned at the outset, this was an important W for us versus this team. Not only did we make up somewhat for **** up the previous close loss, not only did we not allow another W for them which affects lotto balls, not only did we not allow a season sweep, but we now are guaranteed not to have the worst losing season wins total in our history.

Didn't seem like it, but there was a lot on the line.

Wemby - another historic night with some great moves. He led us with 18 points, 7 boards, 6 assists, 7 blocks (!!!)

Mamu team high 16 boards, team high 4 on O, and our lone double double with 11 points.

Julian with 17 flirting and teasing decent games late in the season. Some staggeringly bad plays mixed with some better play.

Branham struggled to 10 points. Didn't vary his shots enough when the 2-8 from 3 was not falling. Took 13FGAs in total. Second highest next to Wemby.

Tre team high +20, 7 boards (2 on O!), 4 assists, 1 steal, 8 points.

We had 6 Spurs in double figures, including Blake with 13 on terrific 5-7, 2-3 from 3(!), with 2 boards, 3 assists.

Sidy scored 10 on 4-6, 0-1 from 3, with 3 boards (2 on O), 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block - a stat line that just hints at the impact he is and can have. He was a defensive menace, switched well and hard, cut off angles, and was a physical load to try to go against. He also moved well off ball on O cut, smartly, and finished with thunderous dunks. So proud of him. Great to see him play.

Both Blake and Sidy played 21 minutes. This defensive perimeter tandem was a PROBLEM for the O and I loved every minutes of it.

The bench chipped in 38 points. Graham struggled with 1-6 but led the bench with 4 assists and had 1 block.

Collins led the bench with 7 boards, had 3 assists, and 1 block so even though he struggled to score (2-5, 0-1 from 3, 1-1FT for 5 points) he contributed in other ways.

Nice to see Gray (2 boards), Duke (-1 from 3, 1 assist), and Bouyea (2-2) contribute on 3 minutes each. You can tell they've had reps together. Bouyea knows how to play and play to his strengths. Comfortable, compact, crafty scorer.

We still had 16TOs which cost us 18 points. EIGHTEEN. And we only earned 4 points on their 8TOs. This has been high all season and can at least in part be attributed to new lineups but also just bad play. Julian (3) and Blake (8!) combined for nearly half of them. Have to live with the growing pains and BBIQ.

We got walloped 18-10 on O boards and once again took far fewer shots, 13 less in this game, but luckily we met a team utterly struggling to score.

Our speed, transition game, Wemby's rim protection, D switching, moving off ball, good cutting, passing (30 assists), and running of two-man games worked well for us. A lot can be made up for with effort and BBIQ. Let's keep it going and finish the season strong.
