Back to a double digit game (11).
But this game might be an emblematic example of an inability to maintain focus. They start losing interest the moment they get too big of a lead.

More than focus it's the fact that the Suns can score on you real quick. They have good firepower. In the NBA no lead is safe.

What is PG doing.... The dumbest mistakes.. He is one of the sloppiest players I have ever seen. Dribbling too much against a team who is literally putting tons of pressure on the ball. Turnover after turnover. 6 turnovers so far

28 free throws to only 7 for the Clippers is laughable for a soft, jump shooting team like Phoenix

While that's true, it didn't start until the Clippers played down to their competition. They have this mindset of a Booker-Durant Dynamic Duo being formidable, but when they went down 30+ points, Clippers starting wondering what's wrong with them. Instead of pushing to 40 (which I think they were hunting for), they indirectly lent them a hand to help get them back into this game. It was almost at a subconscious level, their weakness of letting personal emotions get in the way of business, and they just can't help themselves.
Clippers need an Ann Wolfe-type assistant coach. Someone militant, discipline-heavy, stern. A Scared Straight type of coach, if you know what I mean. Clippers are too lackadaisical to the point it's now common knowledge; their 1st round will purposely play possum as a means to defeat them.

Watching our "veterans" executing down the stretch was like watching a horror movie tonight.

Lue going small, players taking the foot off the gas pedal, the inconsistent whistle. Did a good job to hold on either way.
But the fact Phoenix exerted this much energy, has less depth, we should beat them again tomorrow.

Dear God this team can achieve high highs and low lows. I was thinking it was impossible to blow a 33pt lead, but then I remembered they're the Clippers.

Disappointing Wire-To-Wire Win
I don't care if Clippers still get the win. They gave up 30 PTS and were this close to blowing the largest lead in all of NBA history. That should have never happened. I would have been okay if Clippers gave up the entire lead and gone on at least a one-point deficit behind the Suns, but their tendency to troll may one day flip the tables on them.
Clippers must lose to Suns tomorrow. It's okay to do that for two reasons:
1) They won the Pacific Division; first time in 10 years.
2) Clippers have won the season series vs. Suns 3-0. They can give Phoenix a free game.

Nah, we need to sweep them.

I believe we need 1 more win or DAL loss to clinch.
