Clowney is a keeper. Too bad we didn’t get a chance to see what Whitehead was capable of.

Clowney lost the ball but makes a big play blocking Garrett Temple.

What a finish!!! So good to see Nets fans standing and cheering on the team. Shout out to Mr Wammy who at 87 is still showing up game after game
Schroeder has himself a game and a half. Couldn’t have won this one without him.
Starting to believe we hit oil with Clowney.

Two bigs that can guard multiple positions with one guy being able to shoot. We may have found our PF. Resigning Claxton is a must. Trade DFS and Cam Johnson if we can.

Was at this one, last game of the year. Energy was great! What happened with Bridges never coming back in?

Sharpe is good. He’s a classic old school basic center. But hearing people say he can basically replace Clax? Idk about that.
Sharpe is a hell of a rebounder though and can protect the paint, and honestly rebounds are more important to defense then blocks and turnovers.
But Clax is no slouch rebounding himself and is much more dynamic on offense even if he’s limited there.
And the most important aspect is mobility. Clax can switch onto basically anyone, he’s a legit DPOY candidate if he’s on a top 4 in conference team with a top 10 defense. He’s a true anchor.
His passing is coming along, and he’s smart and fiery.
Hell of an athlete.
Sharpe is great off the bench, and should somehow get more minutes, but he’s a bit lumbering and landlocked.
He is also a smart player though, he’s mainly in the right spot on the floor on both sides, especially without the ball on offense, and he plays within himself.
It’s a little scary that a Clax extension maybe very dependent on what if any major blockbusters go down on draft night(s), and the interim before the FA period begins.

He’s a solid backup center. The way this team is constructed he can’t be our starting center

Agreed.
Just for discussion’s sake, and assuming just a hair of natural improvements through further experience and expanded minutes, how’s he look in a lineup like this, though?
Mitchell
Bridges
Cam J
Markkanen
Sharpe
I fully prefer something with Clax, not even close, but strictly going on the premise Clax is out?

whoa 6 blocks for Clowney thats great ! If he and Claxton can add some good weight our front court would be beasty.
