I think both are hyperbole. I also think Giannis the player has much more say over when he plays than people think but I won’t put the blame on him either . I think sometimes **** just happens.

People making up what they want. She is, & the rest of them are. Bev was praising them on the latest pod.
Giannis plays when he pushes to. Cannot be stopped.

Yeah, I doubt Suki has much influence in the final decision aside from laying out the facts of severity, risk, etc. I imagine once they have that information it is out of her hands.

There's a middle ground between the training staff being dumb as rocks and them being infallible. Giannis averaged 37+ minutes in March. This is far and away the most total minutes (nearly 2,600) and MPG (35.4) that he's logged since he was 23 years old. They've had him play every B2B outside of last night. Blame whoever you want, but if everyone knew he was dealing with the calf/Achilles stuff, then how is that not irresponsible? Do people think that he was just more cautious with himself while playing under Bud? No, it's on the coach and medical team to protect players from themselves sometimes.

Maybe he just got hurt and it's nobody's fault.

Injured Giannis lead to a Championship ... dropped his out of control speed and made better basketball decisions. If we get lucky again and Giannis injury is minor we could see the Giannis Ring Version at the Center position playing more with his brain and less with his insticts.

If the Bucks flame out in the first round this year, this Board will be at an all time freak-out mode.

There will be a fight to the death competition between:

1) fire Horst
2) bring back Bud
3) trade Dame
4) trade Giannis
5) fire Doc
6) cut Bobby (that's a given)

Or probably all of the above.

Funny thing is, I know exactly who will be pushing each narrative. They are laying in wait. Almost worth it, but not quite.

What kind of contract can be offered to Bev? I'm assuming not much. He got $3.1 million from Philly. $1.9 million the year before. And $13 million the year before that.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm at it's time to move on from Brook and Pat C regardless of the outcome. I've warmed on Bobby these past couple of weeks with your influence. We aren't trading Giannis or Dame and Doc gets another season. Khris is a decision point that gets interesting.

Yeah, 2, 3, 4,5 just aren't happening period regardless what anyone thinks. Bobby is by no means untouchable but he's on a fair contract and is one of our only bench players this year that has been a net positive so far.

It's normal to want to assign blame but it's an emotional reaction and not rational. There is literally no one to blame here.

Didn't your mother ever warn you about bad influences from older kids?

Just remember, if you don't have all-star expectations for BP, you won't be disappointed.

Almost all players stats will suffer in the playoffs and teams will prepare for the BP post-up game. In the last ten or so games, it's almost a given that he'll be doubled, which is a positive if he makes the right play.

Given how hard it gets to score in the playoffs, his offense is really needed.

Nah, it was my fault.

My bad, guys. I got a new pogo stick and Giannis was enamored. I should have said no but he was so excited. Kept asking me what I was doing with my old pogo stick. Wore it out dude

Well, if this Board is based on reality, I agree with you. But the fact that every one of the examples I gave has already been part of pages of posts, my expectations are it will continue.

I agree on BP. It's just that if we didn't have BP, everyone would be making up trades to get a big who could spread the floor and shoot.

I think if they flame out its time for a reset and you look at everything besides Giannis and some of the young guys. And hindsight is 20/20 but maybe that should have happened this year

And maybe playing him a ton of minutes and on b2b when he was already hobbled was completely irresponsible. Especially when seeding didn't matter and we went 1-5 anyway. But sure just pretend it's nobody's fault if that makes you less stressed.

I think all of the above will happen except people calling to cut Bobby. He's done to well down the stretch. He's a scoring & rebounding machine on a cheap contract. Even if he is a complete no show in the playoffs, we'd write it off as a bad matchup.
