I think we are too good for the Blazers. Blazers may be tanking. Who in the 2024 draft is worth tanking for?

Re: 4/11 Game 80: Warriors (44-35) @ Blazers (21-58)
Looking at the Blazers roster move and their predicament last season with Lillard...
The Blazers set themselves up for a rebuild with hopes of Scoot Henderson becoming their new All-Star point guard. They just need to get lucky on draft night and develop their guys. Unforutantely the Blazers won't be good until the '30s.
Draft picks:
2024: Their own protected 1-14, Warriors draft pick (protected 1-4), ATL 2nd round pick
2025-2028: Own their draft pick, plus they have pick swaps,
'28: GSW 1st round pick
'29: Boston & Bucks 1st round pick
Bucks receive:
Damian Lillard (via Blazers)
Trail Blazers receive:
Deandre Ayton (via Suns)
Toumani Camara (via Suns)
Jrue Holiday (via Bucks)
2029 1st-round pick (via Bucks)
Two first-round pick swaps with Bucks (2028, 2030)
Suns receive:
Grayson Allen (via Bucks)
Keon Johnson (via Blazers)
Nassir Little (via Blazers)
Jusuf Nurkic (via Blazers)

Haven't seen much of any of them play, but this draft is noted to be one of the weaker drafts for clear SUPERSTAR. Seem like all players who would be solid picks, but no star potential. I would move on from Ayton after next season. They need him for tanking purposes lol.
Alex Sarr - Another 7ft Frenchman with defensive capabilities.
Matas Buzelis - 6'10 SF G-league Ignite player from Lithuania.
Donovon Clingan - 7ft from Uconn. Looked good in the tournament.

Interesting that Slater said yesterday that only Draymond was questionable. Official injury report still says Klay is questionable as well.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Blazers are in the running for a top 4 draft pick but if the top 7 guys are all equal and not guys that should be top 7 guys in a normal draft then there is no reason for the Blazers to lose to the Warriors on purpose.
Blazers home game. One of their kids may play well but Blazers have played very bad in the last few months.
Interesting how the Rockets went from being the hottest team in the NBA to being mediocre garbage as they were eliminated from the play in.
Warriors are still a game behind Lakers in the win column but people say Warriors have the tie breaker so Lakers should end up being the 10th seed.
Pelicans playing Kings, Warriors and Lakers to end their season are very involves with 7,8.9.10 seed results.

Dray and Klay both out. Looks like we'll be going for that NOP game.

are you sure about that? We owe portland this year's pick and a top 20 pick in 2030 is owed to wash. I don't see any other 1st rounders we owe to anyone else.

Not sure now - probably typed Warriors and meant another team when i posted it. I was on a Blazers website looking at future draft picks.

We own our '28 pick. The only pick after this year we don't own is the 2030 top 20 protected to the Wizards.

Losing this game after all the progress towards the 8th seed would be very on brand for this season

They aren't tanking on purpose but have been so bad you know management would prefer to lose out at this point and get the best possible draft positioning. They have won a few games they shouldn't have though, and you can bet the players would love to knock off Steph, Draymond, Klay... and GP2. If you're the Warriors you can't sleep on this game, you have to take care of business.

Wasn't it the blazers game earlier this year that forced Kerr to pay JK in the second half after booting him from the rotation at the start? This season has been insane in so many ways
