I had a dream last night that I met Khris Middleton. It turns out that he is 5'2" tall and I towered over him. The explanation is that the Bucks keep him on the roster because he is a lights out shooter despite his defensive shortcomings at the SF position. He was a really cool guy to talk to.

Get the offer and not only is the base salary lower by a good amount, the target bonus maximum % dropped. So all in all, total comp was down way below their initial range. Like wtf, enjoy spending more money to hire someone else. I gave them a take it or leave it price.
I've run into that over the years. In tight job markets lowballing at the last minute can work. But not in this job market.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I've done a hell of a lot of hiring over the years, I've never understood lowballing people on offers. If you want to have the person long term you need to think of not just the current remuneration with the offer, but what the likelihood is of increases over the next few years; if you have an annual pay review that's generally going to be a % based increased, why try to lowball the right candidate and get them in below market rate just to setup years of them either sitting below market rate and being unhappy (as their value increases with years of experience, too) or you constantly trying to find a way to give them a bigger % based increase/some kind of out of cycle increase?
Doing it after a 6 week process where you've clearly communicated expectations along the way is just weird. The least they could do is present the offer and explain why it's lower than previous expectations.

That was 5 rounds of all action. I hate "fights" when they're on the mat 90% of the time.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That's the most gangsta **** I've ever seen in MMA lmao. 10 seconds left in a fight he was completely dominant in and had no reason to risk anything, still decides to ask one of the most brutal power punchers in the game to trade haymakers, and sleeps him literally at the buzzer lol.

Masters coverage is just impossibly dumb. TV coverage didn't start yesterday until a half-hour after the final group was on the course (they were on the 2nd). You can watch 'Featured Groups', which is basically just following Tiger playing truly godawful golf, on Paramount+ - which I have, because we have literally everything bc of my partner's job - but I just can't think of a worse presentation for what the golf world considers the event of the season. CBS' dumb commercials about this start as soon as winter hits, ffs. "The Masters....on CBS"...when we feel like it.

Truly Silly stuff trying to watch the masters, the funniest **** is how they will go live from the course but not show actual golf.

Being on 3 different networks plus their streaming services is ridiculous.

There’s a sweet spot where my yogurt starts to break down my granola a little, and it becomes almost one. Just had a spoon of it like that with a super, super tart raspberry hidden in it that contrasted wonderfully with the sweetness of the yogurt (I go with a super healthy unflavoured yogurt, then sweeten it a little myself- this morning a teaspoon of home made strawberry jam).
Life is so good.
