It gets harder to leave San Antonio every time... *sigh*

Until next time, then. See you later, SA!

I'm back. It's 18 degrees colder. In temperature and in other ways.

This **** blows.

Rest then back to the grind. I don't mind the grind. I like it.
Just wondering more about what and why and where...

Can o' whoopass opened and emptied.

We faced an undermanned team but seriously we gave a lot of minutes to our G-League players who more than held their own in a 28-point win, 123-95.

Fine way to finish the season.

We finished 7-4 in the last 11 games, which is great, especially considering we've been missing a lot of important contributors.

Really good fan turnout considering our season, considering our available roster, considering it was a sunny Sunday afternoon. Really good support throughout the game.

Also loved how the guys who weren't playing were supporting those who were. Gray got some nice inside buckets; Duke Jr. is a solid shooter who got to show it; Tre dunked! Bench went wild.

During timeouts, Sochan with the coach's clipboard on the court with the coaches in the huddle; the camaraderie among players with the vets still coaching up the G-Leaguers; how plugged in Wemby is with the players, having that tactile way when communicating with them, and participating with on court activities with fans (shooting Coyote's t-shirt gun, and earlier apparently helping with concessions before the game, missed that part ah well).

Once we pulled away with a big enough lead, it was really more about how guys did in their minutes, how Pop and the other coaches and players supported those still trying hard, coaching them up with right reps, etc.

Mamu is a keeper. Glad he got to show it. Hope we find a way to do it.

Cedi is a keeper. Hope we can have him come back.

Blake's D has stood out after coming up from Austin. He must work on his shooting and scoring package. Other than the dunks, he does not have a defined go-to shot. Consistency is a must for next season.

We have a great group that went through a lot of challenges together, that accepted different roles, that grew together, that showed the fruit of growing pains with finishing the season with a winning record in the end part of it, with meaningful games versus opponents who still had a lot to play for. Good building blocks into next season.
