Also if the Lakers and/or Sixers lose in the play in they would go in the lottery instead of be part of the 3-4 team draw.

So the Pacers pick tracking comes down to rooting for the Sixers, Suns, and possibly Lakers to all not choke in the play in. Then wait for the draw and lottery.

Also just realized Pelicans could be in the play in instead of the Suns if the Suns win and Pelicans lose today because PHX has the tiebreak. Either way whichever of those 2 teams is in the play in, we are rooting for them to make the playoffs to improve the odds of the Pacers pick being better.
