In recent games Queta's shown a floater, a near three, a skyhook, and last night a mini left handed hook. His offense has potential to diversify.

Queta has the potential to be a starter in the NBA.

Good thing the Cs locked him up before he had a chance to hit free-agency.

I'm high on his potential, too -- though I expect it'll be hard to keep him here long term (ie, beyond next year).
Does anyone with access to advanced stats have a read on his impact, especially defensively? I feel like the last couple of games, his awesome blocks aside, opponents have been scoring in the paint at a pretty high clip -- but I know it's just pre-summer league garbage time. BBall refs #s (DBPM etc) are all solid: https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/q/quetane01.html

Cs have a little wiggle room as Al's contract expires after next season.

I mean that's true, but look at what the Jays will be making that season compared to this season -- like $120M compared to $60M? It's going to be a whole different world -- and hopefully ownership will be up for paying what it takes to maintain a team capable of defending their *back to back* titles! :)

Yeah, it will be down to if the owners are willing to spend.

Good news is the Cs will have his Bird rights.
