The problem is, a well coached Cavs team does not exist.

I like fun trash talk, don't worry

I think most Magic fans just want a competitive series from our end, even if we lose 4-1 or something. I think your shot-making potential is just too high for us and your defense is solid too, but if we can steal a game or two, our fans might lose their **** and we'll suddenly have some expectations

wow thats big news, because Merrill absolutely has destroyed us
Yeah, his neck got messed up on the LA back to back but even if he was healthy, jb doesn't really care for him.

He really only had 1 game where he torched you all this season and he only saw 30+ minutes that game bc the Cavs didn't have Garland, Mobley, or LeVert; Okoro was also in foul trouble.

Hope he recovers and gets back to 100%. Neck Injuries can be real annoying, I'm dealing with one

Yeah but that one game was so demoralizing

Lol our experience this season has been to never count out "supposed" injured players out. They are usually the one who " willis reed" and beat us.

I kind of just picture them salivating at the thought of facing us and extending their NBA careers at our expense.
Even if healthy, jb won't play him. I'd be more worried about Strus or Niang going on a streak and knocking in a bunch of 3s.

Niang is the definition of a hot/cold player. I swear he either goes 0/7 or 4/4, no in between

That’s what you’re referring to? The last game of the season? You do realize the Cavs were guaranteed home court advantage no matter what, right? You’re racing with this one.

Yeah, up 108-102 with 5:55 left JB rolled out point Tristan Thompson in an obvious attempt to lose the game.

They scored 2 points in the rest of the game and lost 120-110.

All I was responding to was that a poster was surprised the Magic had the votes they had. I informed him that the Cavaliers had just blatantly tanked the final minutes of the season in order to guarantee they played the Magic, which they did. They lost on purpose as directed by their coach, and that's unpopular.

This isn't news, NBA twitter was losing it while it was happening.

I didn’t watch this game, so I’m going to have to take your word for it. But with that said, I still don’t really see this as someone intentionally throwing a game. Again, I don’t know, I didn’t watch it. Someone who did will obviously have much better input to provide than me.

I had all the games up and tuned into that one to hear the Cavs fans straight up booing the team with like 3 minutes to go as they couldn't handle the ball and had clearly been put in a position to lose the game. This is your final home game of the season and you are getting booed by your fans for trying to lose, something wrong there.

I wish i could say the Cavs could count on him for one of those 5 of 6 from deep games like he had against the Bucks or even 5 of 8 from deep games like he had against the 76ers in this series.

Since he's a poor defender though, i anticipate he will find his way out of jb's rotation before the end of the series.

jb has this really fun thing he does where he runs 6 guys really hard and then gets shocked when they're gassed in the 4th and have nothing left to give lol

The Cavs ended our play-in push last season and gave us one of the worst losses I've seen at home this season. I don't think it's an easy matchup for Orlando.

Magic in 6. JBB is literally one of the worst coaches in the entire league. DM has mostly been a shell of himself since the all-star break due to injury. DG is playing some of the worst ball of his young career and turning the ball over at an alarming rate. We been in really bad slump for nearly 2 months now and 2 of our 3 point specialist are injured. This is a recipe for disaster. Did I mention this team has lost to Hornets twice in the last 2 weeks. I have 0 faith in this team. I sure the Magic coaching staff will review the tape for last year beat down by Knicks and just copy the same things.

Well ugly low scoring games is kinda what we do you know. Problem is, they got scrubs ( merrill struss wade ) that go nuclear from 3 when they see an Orlando Magic Jersey.

So while our defense try to contain DG and DON, those scrubs will be auditioning for a 4yr 100m contract against us.
Merrill and Wade are both hurt and will most likely not see the floor in this series.

Wade's basically been out since the allstar break and we could've really used him when Mitchell, Strus, and Mobley were all out as well during the toughest part of our schedule.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

As a Cavs fan we 100 percent tanked. He took out all our starters halfway in the 2nd half except Max Struss and once he got his triple-double he never returned to the floor. The fans had ever right to boo, shameful display

NBA TV series.
Cavs struggled mightly against the Knicks' size last year, Magic pose similar problems. I trust Mitchell the most of anyone on the floor but the Magic have the guys who can slow him down.

Just magic fans, cavs fans, and nba super-fans... the same as for miami games though... sports ratings are about A-tier superstars and the magic, cavs, AND heat don't have any at the moment. Not sure what the dig is about.

Niang and Jingles will play 12 minutes and spend all of it playing grab-ass with each other, chucking contested shots pointing at each other after every made shot.
