Current betting odds to win the title:
Celtics +160
Nuggets +250
Bucks +1200
Clippers +1200
Thunder +1500
Odds to win the East
Celtics -200
Bucks +600
Sixers +700
Heat +1200
Celtics +160
Nuggets +250
Bucks +1200
Clippers +1200
Thunder +1500
Odds to win the East
Celtics -200
Bucks +600
Sixers +700
Heat +1200
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Glad I jumped on +400 when I had the chance.

This. Love to see Philly lose to the Heat, then take #8. I don't think they beat Boston but I think they'd make it interesting.
Nah I’m gunning for Celts vs Heat round 1. I think the Celts would win but they could rattle the Celts’ confidence a bit.

Maybe. I don't think Miami repeats last year's flip the switch success. Sixers have been playing very well but of course it depends on Embiid's knee.

Maybe Kevin Love flops again and takes out Tatum...but I'd rather see a team beat Boston straight up

Anyone would be foolish to discount Miami, but Porzingis has made a difference so far between the two teams. Bam killed the Celtics in past years, and though he still puts up some numbers, he doesn't decisively win the center battle vs Boston any more. The Heat routinely step up in the playoffs though. In fact as mentioned above, who knows, maybe they'll be the 7th seed.

They do play the Suns
I looked at the standings before everything was set.
Talking with my wolves fan friends, that was the one team they didnt want to see. Suns, for some reason, play super well, while the Wolves play like garbage whenever they matchup.

We moved off the Jrue/Grayson backcourt at the exact right time and there's people here that will still claim it was a mistake.

Assuming we continue to look bad in the postseason, hindsight is we got off the Jrue/Grayson backcourt at the right time but should have used those contracts to get younger, more athletic, and better defensive players.
That's hindsight though, because I was totally on board with the move. The first time I questioned it was immediately after the trade was announced finding out he was going through a divorce. I think this season is 100% different if Dame's family was here with him all season.

Yeah, that decision definitely wasn't a mistake. Just because the result isn't what everyone hoped for, doesn't mean the decision itself was a bad one.

Yeah, checking socials many Wolves fans assume the will lose in typical Minnesota Sports fashion.
Vegas has the Suns as the favorite:
Minnesota Timberwolves (3) vs. Phoenix Suns (6)
Series winner: Suns -115, Wolves -105
Total games: Over 5.5 (-215), Under 5.5 (+175)
Correct result:
Suns win 4-2, +320
Wolves win 4-3, +350
Suns win 4-3, +600
Wolves win 4-2, +650
Wolves win 4-1, +650
Suns win 4-1, +750
Suns win 4-0, +1000
Wolves win 4-0, +1400

Re: Around The League
Grayson is in the midst of his prime and has proven himself a viable starting guard in this league. I don't think that's a bad contract. When you consider the tax implications for Ishbia, though, it's shocking they're paying it.
The second apron is estimated to be 189m next year. They're now committed to 183 for 5 of their guys -- Durant, Beal, Booker, Nurk, and Grayson. Will they pay O'Neale? Bol? They're poised to far exceed the Ws record tax bill. Good for them I guess.

I thought it was great when I first saw the headline, assuming it was like a 10 point game with a minute left. It was a 8-point game with 4+ minutes left in a game that could effect Clippers seeding. I feel kind of dirty watching it. (But I guess the Clipps were resting/tanking anyways?)
