It’s a boring roster. Old and slow. Need some new blood on the team. I’d rather have Paulo, Chet, Fox, Tatum, and maybe even Brandon miller on the team

Not gonna happen, but I would love Derrick White getting that last spot. Ultimate team guy, elite defender, good 3-point shooter, and much improved play-maker. Would be a seamless fit imo and would guard the opposing team’s best Guard at all times, allowing our guys to save their energy for Offense.

Chet is another guy who would be a good addition imo. Young, athletic, great/versatile defender, good in both PnR & PnP, doesn’t need the ball to be effective, etc. Plus it’d make that matchup with France that much more intriguing since he and Wemby genuinely don’t like each other lol.

Get someone other than Haliburton on there FFS someone who can provide some rim pressure and play legit POA defense. Why not Brunson or Fox? Haliburton’s defense is so so so bad and with guys like Curry and LeBron on the team we need more defense not more offense

Also is it me or do we have no answer for Wemby or Jokic on this team?

Outside of the Celtics guys, there's a decent chance the entire USA roster will be out of the playoffs after round one.

Also, it's really stupid that Embiid gets to play on US. Cameroon could easily field a team.

Why 3 centers? Embiid and AD are injury prone, but you can adjust the team before the Olympics if one of them becomes unavailable.
I hate Kyrie, but he was really good in fiba game. He can't go crazy during a 2 week tournament, especially with LeBron there.

Edit:
Did kawhi decided not to join or was he not selected? My ideal team would have been these 11 without bam but with kawhi and Kyrie

Oh 100%. There are plenty of stars that could take the last spot. Maybe Kawhi for example, or Banchero.

But we've seen high level role players take the last spot in recent years, though the rosters were not as top heavy.
