40/11/11 still seems so ridiculous.

People thought the 38/10/10 was a huge stretch.

The perspective on what was required to do it is wild.

Durant? What a complete joke. The one area in which he can have arguments, i.e., ultra high efficiency scoring, didn’t even outshine LeBron this season, i.e., slightly lower TS%, a little more TS added due to volume.

He’s more portable due to scoring off of a Nurkic screen

Bron not making second team all-NBA is nasty work. The media people who vote for these awards are, by and large, no better informed than the average GB poster.

Sundays game being easy should mean winning this is gonna be really hard.

It's a record thing. If Lakers get 50+ wins then LeBron is 2nd team.

I mean Phoenix only won two more games with a big 3 than the lakers won, yet Durant is getting the nod.

That doesn't make it not-stupid, though.

Probably, but that is an unfathomably lazy approach. If Lebron and Durant both missed the entire season then the Suns would be ahead of the Lakers by a lot more than two wins.

Luka and SGA both made all-NBA first team last year despite being under .500. It’s not a record thing, it’s an agenda-driven voter thing.

I think it's age-bias more than anything. They see that he's 39 and simply assume he-can't-possibly-be-that-good-still. Except he is. All data out there clearly shows that he's still a Top 10 player. Deserving of All NBA 2nd Team easily. But it's just hard for people to fathom that could still be happening at age 39.

This is a near 20 point Laker lead if AD wasn't so out of it on offense. Can't do a damn thing right.

AD's back must still be bothering him because this is the worst he's looked all season.

Is this Bron's best defensive game of the year?

People in the game thread saying he looked gassed but forget Lebron (for all the memers who say he doesn't) is still a very good defender in the Playoffs.

Getting to the line has made a hug difference to his scoring. 17 points but 8/8 from the line. Strong considering his ftr decline
