I am saying it again. Butler or Bam needs to be traded. Butler is old and slow and Bam can't score. We need to blow it up. Bam cannot be our franchise player, he is great defensively but we need a superstar who can play both defense and offense. Bam ain't it.

Just like Dragic knee was cooked after going super Saiyan in the playoffs, Butler knee is cooked.

What was the alternative? He put us in position multiple times in the 4th, we just couldn't guard batun or embiid

Bam can't score with Embiid in the paint.

So either our season ends Friday or we get the honor of playing the Celtics in round one.

Yall gotta stop with this Bs Bam can’t score nonsense. He plays to the scheme. 25-12-6 this year without Jimmy and Herro, 22-11-5 without Jimmy.

I want this to end at this point, to be honest. People will say that we’ve had success, but we’ve been 1 piece away for 4 years. That piece never came. We wasted some really amazing performances from Jimmy. It’s time to blow it up and move on.

Even if we win the play in, Jimmy is hurt. Unless Herro and Bam go on some ridiculous playoff run, the Celtics are going to absolutely destroy us. All season, we’ve just been either too injured or some people simply just didn’t care. Something has been off all season. I would rather lose in the play-in than get destroyed by the Celtics.

Go for Mitchell or blow it up and rebuild.

Bam has to be the most heartless and gutless player I've seen in Miami in a long time.

What I meant is Bam isn't a guy who is going to take over a game on offense. I get the offense doesn't go through him and that's on Spo but he's not going to score 40+ points in a big game like other stars. That will never be his role. So what I'm saying is our 3 main guys aren't scoring when needed.

Bam is simply not a star. Really good role player but he’s a 3rd or 4th option at best on a real contending team

Of course not, he got hot late to make it look not as bad, you kinda expect a shot streak to happen at some point when you put up 27 shots, 10 more shots than any other player on the court.

I don't think you can say the play in tournament is really working though when a team with 36 wins could potentially get in to playoffs over a team with 46 or 47 wins. I get it if it is 1-2 wins, but you are talking 10-11 wins. The play in was supposed to make the regular season mean more, but if a team with 36 wins gets in to playoffs over a team with 46 or 47 wins then what exactly does the regular season mean? Those 10-11 wins and games were meaningless.

Bring on the ping pong balls...

Man get the **** out with that nonsense. We’re in that position anyways because of his constant jacking of the offense and missed WIDE open looks. I can’t even believe you’re defending him after that one regardless of being his biggest Stan

The problem is our big 3 don't really complement each other. Bam is just not going to score in his role consistently. Jimmy and him aren't going to be consistent shooters. Bam isn't Chris Bosh on the 3 point line. They have Herro running point and he really should be a spot up shooter. You have 3 guys basically on the court who can't score consistently (Jimmy can if he's healthy and actually tries but that is rare now but he still isn't a shooter). And that doesn't include the 2 other spots who aren't great offensive players. There is no offensive synergy with this roster.

I want whatever gear Batum is on, guy looked phenomenal. Herro hit some big shots for us at the end we were in it, JJJ had that stupid foul and then an unforced turnover back to back which we're killer in a game of inches.

We looked so good that first half, that's the story of our team fellas, inconsistent and bipolar it is what it is at this point what can you do.

Sure while he helped stop Miami from blow the game wide open the first 3 quarters with all the misses. Normally when you don't have your shot going you either quit hunting your shot or find some other way to score like getting to the line or wait to get an easy bucket.

This is what I'm talking about with Herro, people will completely ignore how bad he was all game because he made a few shots at the end. He is the definition of a scoring 6th man you don't have to rely on unless they're on that night.
