Hence why Dame would've been a big get and now D-Mitchell is on the radar.

Damn... good observation. Can't believe no one brought that up. I didn't hear ESPN even mention it, but maybe I missed it.

Wright only played 22 minutes for whatever reason, the defense led to some easy scores for Miami.

For some reason when we play defense everyone forgets what's offense.

Yes but you end up outscoring the other team most of the time, not sure if you remember, Miami held Philly to 39 points and led the game by 12, in the 2nd half they gave up 66 points and lost by one.

Like clockwork with some fans

It was a close game, but we shouldn't have even been in this position if we hadn't waddled through the season half asleep. Yeah, on to the next one - viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2372381

37 pages, GG OP!

I saw some good things from this game tbh, would love a healthy Terry and Duncan for Celtics. Hope to make that at least a six game series

I'm tough on Herro because of the money. He's paid to be a franchise guy and he's practically useless if he can't score. His defense is terrible and he's a shot chucker. Spo tried to make him a PG when he's a spot up shooter. Plus, he's very injury prone. I don't hate the guy. I just don't feel there is long-term success with him as a cornerstone piece.

I don't disagree on there being issues with his role and fit I'm talking strictly about tonight.

When you are one of the franchise pieces and getting paid top dollar, you are expected to perform in the big moments. This is a key game and he couldn't make a basket and had some awful turnovers. It's not solely on Herro. There is a lot of blame to go around. But Herro is one of the big 3 of this team and if he's terrible, it hurts the team more than when a role player sucks.

What's his stats with them? How much ppg and shot attempts with them? I need to see how his stats tonight stack up against his regular averages with them.

If Rozier was hurt, then Spo needed to start another ballhandler in his place: either Mills or Wright. Wright was playing well but didn't get enough minutes.

At the end of the game, not having a ballhandling guard on the floor hurt us. Herro is a scorer and not a ballhandler or facilitator. He had too many costly turnovers tonight.

I’m sorry brother but there is literally no way you watched him go 9-27 from the field in a 1 point loss where he hijacked the entire offense in the 3rd and came away with that conclusion. Literally no way

Lmfao!!!! Jimmy and Herro combined 14-45 but here we are

But yet the efficient star passed up wide open looks most of the night and wasn't aggressive. Hall of Famer though.

Exactly. People complain that Herro takes too many shots but maybe if Bam and Butler took more shots, then Herro doesn't have to shoot that much. Another thing, Herro can't play point guard. He needs to play off the ball.

I'm far from a Herro stan, I'm just tired of the excuses. Bam is in the Draymond Green tier. The Warriors never relied on Draymond to score. We are in an unfortunate position.

People just run with pre-prescribed narratives and don't really watch the game. Herro didn't take many shots that weren't within the offense, his shot just wasn't falling for the majority of the game. And if he wasn't aggressive with his shot even when he was struggling, we probably lose by more with Jimmy essentially being forced to be a decoy. But people are going to say he was chucking because that's the narrative.

Defensively he made his mistakes as always, but he wasn't the reason for our inability to stay on the hot hand. But people will say he was being hunted, when during man to man that did not really happen.

Worried about Jimmy though. Was invisible after that steal and dunk in the 2nd half when he started wincing. There is a good chance he doesn't play the next game. Hope Rozier is ready to step in and give us some scoring when Herro's shooting is off like tonight. We can't just keep throwing it to him when the whole opposition knows that's the play since we don't have anyone else on the floor with the balls to shoot it with the game on the line :(

But you gotta start with Bam and then go to Herro. L is on those 2. But some here wanna give Bam a pass while heaping all the blame on Herro. Both of needed to be better
