So its Steph that is wasting the end of his career the whole time.
Not Bob, Steve, nor Duns gone Wild.

I didn't say he was attainable, i implied he's more attainable than zinger, chet or wemby. I'm probably missing a name or two out of those 4, only miles turner is a phone call you can make without having the other party insulted by the attempt.
Also, I believe your info might be outdated since he signed that extension last Jan, not this one. He's an expiring next season and doesn't quite fit the haliburton timeline. We'll see how the finish in the playoffs and how much they'd value our picks. With Turner making only 20M next season, we'd be able to give them expiring deals and picks or young talent (Moody or podz or JK). I'll be rooting for them to get bounced early and turner to have a couple bad games.

Seriously, this never wanting to do anything unless A and B comes along is frustrating to say the least. Imagine Jordan or Kobe taking a backseat and holding a franchise hostage to accommodate their team mates.
If that is how Steph truly feels he can accept the "worlds best friend" title now because its the last one he will ever get.

no, unless you're the lakers or the celtics.

Curry, PG, Kujminga, Draymond, TJD would be an awesome starting 5.
A small line up:
Podz, Curry, PG, Kuminga, Draymond.
Anything other than landing a guy like PG is a waste of time. Keeping Wiggins and Klay is just sleep walking through another lame season.

Paul Gorge jus played a good season. Shot efficiently and kept his scoring up. Age if it showed up in stats only showed up in one less rebound per 36 minutes. I did not check defense.
Paul George will be 34 next year, perfect for our geriatric basketball team.

The Warriors will re-sign Thompson to a big extension and run it back with the same roster as this past season.

not going to happen. They already took a small extension off the table. At best, he’s getting 2/45m from us which is bad enough, but I think that’s worst case.

I remember when 34 used to be so old in the 90s and 2000s. Now it’s not too bad.

The Warriors have missed the playoffs 3 out of the past 5 seasons, and yet, much of the fanbase, as well as Kerr and Curry, want to run it back with the "core 3." The definition of insanity is when...
Unlike an OKC or a Houston with their teardowns-and-rebuilds, the Warriors do actually have younger and still developing players on the roster who can provide a foundation to build along with lottery pick players. Why not actually "rip the 'band-aid' off" and trade all three of the aging veterans and get back a haul of picks? By the time Kerr's 2-year extension is over, the team could actually be back in the playoffs with a younger and more athletic team that actually has huge upside potential?
