If by impressive you mean offensively then you're rights. But defensively both team has been spectacular.

I do mean offensively, Paolo is the only player on your team that really showed up (kudos to him)

As for Cleveland, Mitchel did his thing, their front court was playoff solid however Garland had a meh game.

That's been our plight all season. We can't generate offense with this group. Paolo is almost always the only one that shows up and with the amount of attention he gets the fact that he can still produce is beyond me.

This is basically the offensive performance we're used to with young players who are inefficient and just bad shooters.

But one of the only few winning teams with that awful of shooting because of our defense.

My hope is that just getting 1 or 2 offensive weapons here to help can make us a threat in the next few years.

Kind of went how I thought it would. ORL plays tough and hard. But they really do lack offensive firepower. Playoff experience is the big win for them.

Just need to follow it up getting some legit offensive firepower to surround Paolo/Franz

TBH i think some lottery teams in the west are as good as the 4 and 5 in the east. I wouldn't favor the warriors over the cavs, but man yea i think it would be a series.

I wasn't overly impressed with Cleveland and they had a ton of turnovers that were just down to blatant lack of concentration, but they were comfortably the better team the entire game sans the first five minutes of Q3. Orlando unfortunately doesn't have the offense to hang with Cleveland for 48 minutes.

Also, the Magic shot it as poorly as you could shoot in an entire game and were in it until the last 2-3 minutes. They shouldn't shoot it this poorly all series. We'll see how the rest of the games go.

It's Game 1? There's no way you're saying you've learned everything from this game when it's the first game our 22 and 21 year olds just played their very first playoff game in a hostile enviorment. I came away even more confident in the Magic.

Likely your path forwards is going to depend on Franz development, the guy lost his three point shot (I head they made him tweak it).

Suggs is likely Jrue Holiday 2.0, known for his defence, but unreliable in the playoffs with his offense.

As to how to improve, i'm not sure, your draft position moving forwards is going to be weak I think. Maybe you need to get Murray from the hawks but i'm not sure how much better he makes you.

Magic 8-37 from deep and 19-30 from the charity stripe. Not gonna win games like that.

Still a lot of series left but i hope the whistle is more even in game 2, that much of a free throw disparity for the home team is absurd.
