Nuggets so good and efficient. Takes it inside most of the time.

It’s very, very difficult to beat these guys when they are full roster. It’s like a well-oiled, ruthless basketball playing machine.

If the Celtics end up meeting this Nuggets team, they have to be at their absolute best for 7 games and hope to win 4 of them. This team is crazy good

The 1st round against Miami will tell us what to expect from the Celtics from here on out.

I tell you, the Cs were holding back in mid-March and the whole of April.

Don't be surprised if the Cs are suddenly trapping more and putting more pressure on the ball carrier in the playoffs.

The Cs just didn't want to show their hand in the regular season.

I won't be surprised if Joe surprises us with schemes and styles that just occasionally saw in the regular season.

Playoff Jamal is a real thing. He’s never been an all star but then he ups his ppg by 6 (best in NBA history I think) in playoffs and is a legit second superstar next to Jokic.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Get to the finals first.

Too early to worry about Jamal.

But yeah, Jamal is legit.

The Nuggets are still really good but they don't worry me a ton this season. While Bruce Brown wasn't a huge loss, he was a loss and a 33 y/o Reggie Jackson is now a bit of a liability for them in the backup PG role (edit it also leaves them with one fewer option to spell KCP & Porter). They lost Jeff Green as well. They still have solid overall depth but are no longer stacked.

And while I wouldn't say they are a poorly coached team, they are not the sort of well coached, highly disciplined team that typically causes fits for us. It's an overreaction, but the Heat worry me about as much as the Nuggets, even without Jimmy.

I hope the Clippers don't win the championship. Laker fans will claim it as banner 18.

Dallas inbounded the ball with 1.2 seconds left in the quarter and Kyrie couldn't bother to throw up a shot. Still a loser.

The Timberwolves too. I think they get all Minneapolis titles.

Team with the best scoring duo in the league has *checks notes* 29 pts with 2 mins left before halftime.

Dang rough first half for the Mavs to put it mildly.

only one half but it seems like a team that was terrible on defense during the regular season thought that defense wouldn't matter when it matters most.

People don't like Joe, but think about it, Jason Kidd could have been our coach just a couple of seasons ago.

Other than the Knicks-Sixers game, none of the games have been close so far. Even the Lakers game never felt like they'd win that one. Shut it down, NBA. It's been a dud.

Or even worse, Chauncey Billups or Darvin Ham.

EDIT: Tbf to Dallas/Kidd, they were 6th in defense after the trades they made. Dunno what happened in that half, maybe just a case of bad matchup or Harden going bonkers.
