I saw it during Jordan's career. His standard of excellence is so high, he's not just competing against the other players, he's competing against his best seasons. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, that's just my perception.

No but this is the only year sga had a shot...it's to bad embiid won last year cuz he kinda screwed everything up...Jokic should have last year and SGA should have won this year...

I still think SGA should have won this year regardless...

But unless something happens to Jokic or Doncic and others...SGA doesn't stand a chance...He won't have a better narrative than this year...

Now that I think about it SGA should be MVP.

I don't think anybody predicted the Thunder to be a top 3 team in the West. I had them as a play in team before the season. For a team that young to be the #2 seed in a tough Western conference is impressive.

SGA is my MVP.

I was ready to make his case half way through the season but Shai tailed off after all star. Think he finishes 3rd but that's still one hell of an achievement.

Embiid, I don't see him playing 65. And Giannis, I think his MVP regular seasons are behind him, still an elite player though.
