1 year on off is very noisy anyway. SSS on/off best used for entertainment purposes, like showing that Kornet on, Jaylen off is +18.8 whereas Kornet on, Jaylen on is +2.0.

68-win team with JT on. 71-win team with him off.

I know it doesn't work that way. But funny how you no longer quote the OFF part like in previous seasons. :P Would still have Tatum as Celtics offensive fulcrum over Brunson leading a bunch of tryhards though.

I’d post off if it showed anything lol. If people want to hold that against him, fine. But the people claiming superteam merchant? Nah lol. Not when he’s carrying lineups just as much as he ever has.

I would blame Brad personally for putting the right pieces around him. It's only a superteam in the sense that they work so well together. The individual players are nowhere near all-timers.

I don't think they care that much about the individual awards this year tbh. They knew the deal coming into the season. It's been a full buy-in, something I've been longing for since Brad's coaching days. We have it now. So I'm more thrilled that these guys (JT foremost) didn't stat-chase or looked out for themselves before the team than them being given regular season hardware.

I love the results on the court, I’ve always wanted them to be less dependent on Tatum. But the rationale from the media people for a lot of this is inconsistent and weak, at best.

I do think if the Celtics win the title and Tatum wins FMVP, that all time trajectory starts getting pretty high. His playoff numbers in that case will be seriously up there.

Discussion about JT's career so far is already unfair. It's only going to get worse if they fall short again.

Off topic, non-playoff thought, but do NOP take the laker pick this year or defer to next year? Me thinks next year since 17th pick isnt great and its not an especially strong draft. And its another year of age and health on bron and AD. But taking the pick this year blocks the lakers from taking Bronny at 17.

I like Suggs a lot but he seems to get hurt a lot. Similar to Smart.

fultz is a top-tier liability on both ends.

Magic fans crowing all season about having 2 good centers each of whom is worth multiple first-round picks in a trade and then neither of them starts in the playoffs lol. Against a team that plays double big and has spacing issues.

Banchero should demand a trade to the Celtics. He can be our 10th man, playing behind Kornet if Tillman leaves.

Switching to the Knicks-Sixers match. My Magic in 6 pick is not looking good.

Would love to see a bunch of seven-game series from everyone except us.

I only noticed it after he fell and hurt his knee last game. Never got a definitive answer. Some are saying he might be on some strong pain meds.

Brunson has missed like 10 layups already.
