What’s most annoying is that they’re more willing 3pt shooters than either Harris or Cole or Ingles who are the guys we want to see launching more. They all get looks, they’re just passing them up. Harris developed the world’s slowest gather and lift tonight for some reason.

Franz didn't have a FG in the 2nd half. Both Franz and Paolo had 6 TOs in the game. Paolo is 9 for 20. That is our two stars

Magic's defense is good while holding Cavs under 100 points and while 41.5% shooting

But the biggest stats to say it all is Jarret Allen's 20 rebounds. Moe is doing all he can in the 4th Q but not enough time

I think the first two games exposed Magic's weakness. Big man to rebound and protect the paint plus 3 point shooting.

Mobley and Allen intimidate our scorers to the paint all game. It is apparent. And the only one on our roster who can do that is JI.

If we really want to win one game, it has to be an All Game effort. Our first Q is horrible. Hope our home court will help. But we have to do a better job. Hope two day rest and extra practice will help. Plus Cole can not score 0 points off the bench

The insane disappearance of Cole Anthony is being felt in the worst way right now. Despite coming off of the bench, he was our #3 scorer for a lot of the early months, and completely wiping that scoring from the stat sheet has made winning way more difficult.

Monk is that meme of the guy rubbing his hands together behind a tree. Magic are going to throw the bag at him

This is what happends when somebody matches their defensive intensity from some games in regular season.
We can't score 85 points and our shooting is just dreadful. People pass wide open 3s due complete lack of confidence.

Weltman quite literally went on record just 6 days ago saying he was comfortable running it back next season.

"We’re gonna slow simmer it and continue to invest in the players we have on our roster. Grow and develop them. Coles disappearance is what happens when you go from playing 22-30mpg in winning basketball early in the season to less than 20 during terrible basketball.

Good thing Mosely got Fultz those minutes though.

This is why I think it’s a winnable series. There are some things that we should be able to clean up. Figuring out how to handle Allen and Mobley on the boards will make a huge difference. Having some guys hit some shots will make a huge difference.

I’m hoping home court gives them the confidence to close some of those margins.
