Brunson is not a high ceiling star. He's just not.

Give him credit for going all out in the meaningless regular season and getting the most out of his potential.

But just look at his game. Then look at the raw/natural talent of someone like maxey. It's not close. One guy has the potential to become a bigtime playoff performer(because he has the true talent to upgrade in the playoffs) and the other is a regular season star that is only a star in the regular season because he is maximizing his ceiling during those games(relative to other players who play at 80 percent)

Brunson isn't taking the knicks anywhere. He's just not good enough.
