He's wrong about the foul(s), but he's right about our need to free up Brunson. It's one thing to lose Randle but we can't continue to allow the Sixers to neutralize Brunson. We have to make an adjustment. The problem is that they are playing with a lot of length and using it on HIM.

Brunson has gotten his shots. He's just not making them like he usually does and his shot selection has been sub-par. They have not shut him down. He's just out of sync which Philly may have contributed to somewhat, but this is more of a Jalen Brunson adjustment than anything strategic.

if we win game 3 in philly the sixers will shut down embiid for game four.

i'm also a knicks fan, so im cognitively damaged.

True. I wonder if the NBA will fine him for cursing and throwing the refs under the bus. They weren't even bad calls, imho. Could have gone both ways. But it just sounded like Embiid was butthurt for not getting superstar treatment.

I'm not gonna claim victory yet. I wouldn't be surprised if Embiid has some soft-a$$ 50-point Game 3 with 30 FTs. I'm fully expecting to see Precious get minutes soon due to the rest of the team getting in foul trouble.

Here's my conspiracy theory:

the window for success for the process sixers is coming to an end. embiid doesn't want to shut down, but his knee is not going to make it.

-game 1 his knee pad had blood on it, likely from the site of a steroid injection
-one of his knees is visibly swollen lol
-he's limping
-nonverbal signs of pain include agitation, and even aggressive behaviors.
-his production dropped off in the fourth of game 2 (because the steroids don't last forever and are very liver toxic)

its kinda like what happened with melo and his elbow injections. we might lose game 3 but we'll win the series because he's going to keep getting worse. i'm a nurse for what its worth.

Embiid couldn't jump. His knee is killing him, and I don't know if he'll have as good a chance in the future to win a chip. That's why he was crying like a baby. Knicks killing Embiid's dream. Knicks living theirs!

Loose ball refs are trained not to call the jump ball right away in the NBA - oh and nurse wants to complain about the whistle / for a time out…refs could have called maxey for a travel as he had two hands on the ball while standing up and went down…Lots fo things could have happened lowry all over the arms and that gets overturned **** happens you can’t hope like the sixers. You will it like the knicks.

He could've easily pointed to 4 Sixers around the hoop and still letting Hartenstein get the rebound but he chooses to blame the officials.

Were they complaining when the refs reversed the call on Lowry when he mugged Hart? They tried to gift them the game.

Man this one guy was crying about officials all night after the game, posting bad still shots trying to swing perception, getting disproved multiple times via videos and he was ignoring rebuttals and he is STILL crying on the 76ers board about it. Like bro take off your 76ers glasses and watch the videos with an objective and unbiased view ffs. Changes the username for his sake but good lord it's pathetic and all stems back to their pathetic coach being a cry baby.

76og wrote:Honestly, seven hours later, I'm still in disbelief that we lost that game. I had to clear my head, so I went for a run outside.

I think part of the reason why I'm feeling this way is that I don't really have someone to blame for the loss. I'm really upset with the refs, but it also made me realize how important it is to secure a high seed in the playoffs. If we had a higher seed last year, we could have had the crowd behind us in Game 7. If we had a higher seed in this series, we wouldn't be facing biased officiating.

In the last seven hours, I spent most of my time scrolling through Twitter and listening to Sixers podcasts. I came to the conclusion that I don't think the refs can be blamed for not calling the timeout for Nurse during the inbound. Nurse himself said he was trying to see if we could inbound the ball, which is why he hesitated to call the timeout. But when Maxey fumbled the ball after we successfully inbounded, Nurse was quick to call the timeout.

That said, I can't blame Lowry for not calling the timeout because it seems like our plan was to try to inbound the ball first and use the timeout as a backup to avoid a 5-second violation.

But man, when Maxey fumbled and fell on the floor, I think he should have also called the timeout instead of just letting the ball roll on the floor. And thats when the refs probably should have called time out, if Maxey really had possession while Nurse was at the baseline calling for it.

It was total team effort.
We just need Brunson to perform to his par.
Let's sweep these softies.

Are we watching the same game? Brunson might have 1 good game this series but he's being guarded by 6'7 guys often with a double and if he gets past them he gets to drive into embid. he needs to stop forcing shots and start impersonating cp3 or jkidd and make quicker passes.

everyone says you cant win with small guards as your 1 in the playoffs, this is what they mean.

The funny thing is I can totally relate. After Luka did the same thing to us last year(?) I didn’t say a word and took the dog out for a walk. Just in complete shock. It’s just awesome to be on the winning side for a moment like this.

And they are all embarrassing and weak! A game, especially a playoff game, is not over down 5-6 (if Lowry hit the second FT) with 47 secs left!

I really don’t have pity for the refs. They’ve been coddling Embiid and James their whole career, to the point that Embiid doesn’t get that one favorable call to protect him from his team’s inability to box out and he starts crying.

That’s just sad…bro is spoiled. Give the guy all the free throws and weak fouls and he’s still not satisfied.

People acting like they were not tight is funny. I was tight, which makes this even more crazier.

NGL I was concerned but I did not turn it off or walked away like you did. That's weak! Be a better fan! Especially with this team who have proven they will fight until the buzzer!

So wonderful the play was a combination of:

Nurse not immediately calling a timeout
Lowry making a sh*t pass
Maxey not handling the sh*t pass
Embiid not boxing out or rebounding
Lowry falling to the floor like a flopping b*tch
Knicks winning

Complaining about not getting a timeout called when you didn't make any attempt to run to a ref or definitively call it is such god-tier level whining you would think it came from a toddler.

Also any one of the 5 sixers on the floor who were in the midst of chitting their pants could have ran to a ref and called one... I don't want to hear it at all. Embiid gets such a favorable whistle that it's absurd to blame the referees for anything
