Harris last night played elite defense. You can easly point out he was best individual defender.

But up by 5 with 30 sec left, lost by 3. Very impressive.
They had a timeout. It looked like on the replay that Nurse tried to call the timeout twice, before the ball was inbounded and against once Maxey hit the deck.
Refs didn't grant either one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

With the other heartbreakers last night, I almost feel less bad about our losses. We’re so far from being competitive and never really had the games in our grasp.

He is for sure our most disciplined defender but thats not sexy. Without Harris on Mitchell it would not be even that close, but he has done it before in the playoffs. If we dont resign him and rely only on internal growth i doubt we will make playoffs next year.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Tbh in situation where i'm up by 5 and opponent has a ball, i would pull ultimate FIBA/euroleague thing and made intentional foul to send them to FT line.
In that case even if Philly makes two, you can call time and get ball on the side, and you are still up by 3 with 26-ish sec on the clock, worst case, you mess it up and they have to scrumble for last shot to tie a game.
In general nba teams don't do it (yet) despite fact it's so damn obvious choise as "good decision" in bunch of situations.

What is our record with and without him this year ? Who is our best guard on both sides of the floor against Cleveland ?

That post game interview is comedic gold. Was asked to tell "step by step what happend in last possession ". Flat out said " Murray made shot" and left

I know we all hate Embiid and his flopping ways, not to mention the fact that Lowry is playing for them. However, they did get screwed by thew refs. L2M showed that those 2 knicks players did foul Maxey a lot AND Nurse did call a TiemOut.
Refs crooked ==== Lowry and Embiid plays for the sixers

Yeah... the other big problem is that it doesn't solve our PG issue.
The Suns offense doesn't look any better than ours even though they have Booker, KD, and Beal... but they also don't have a PG... or a good X's and O's coach.

Age problem and lack of depth problem.
