He hit 1000 and they still continued to give him open looks, so I wouldn’t bank on that

I was thinking we should try hart but I like your idea more. Donte navigates screens better than Hart does. I also like the idea of OG or Hart as the weak side help guys than DiVincenzo too.

Embiid to me has always had an air of negativity about him as a human being/personality, and I believe it’s a strong factor in why he folds year-in year-out when it matters. Just my opinion, but Randle has similar energy.
People cried when we lost Randle, but we are very lucky to have one season of the Nova Knicks. This feels more like ncaa March madness than the nba playoffs right now, and I’m loving it. Randle is the second best basketball player on our roster, but sometimes the sum of the parts does not equal the whole. This group is very special as is.

Jalen drove and lost the ball at the top of the key. Donte immediately rushed in from the corner to a pack of people to grab it. He then backs up, crosses over, drives, does a high gather to avoid swipes, sucks the defense in enough to kick it to Jalen for the trey.
That is not something a normal 3 pt gunner does. Donte isnt perfect of course, but he’s way more well rounded than some give him credit for. Played great defense in this one too. He wasn’t guarding Maxey much. When he’s rested his defense can be legit though.
It was looking like Donte wasnt even going to close the game but Deuce looked tired, and made a couple dubious plays/fouls down the stretch which kinda forced Thibs’ hand. So many things went right in the end.

I think their defense is pretty set. They will take their chances with Josh shooting 40%+ over letting Brunson get 30.

He did do this in the 3rd. He was feeding iHart a lot.
He hasn't been taking wild shots. These are his normal looks. He is just not making them. The more he misses the more uncomfortable he is looking.
He is either going to start hitting them or the ship is going to sink. We only go as far as Brunson is taking us.
I didn't love the contested corner 3 he took at the close of the game. but it was dope he let it rip and had the fortuitous bounce at the end.
He'll get right moving forward.

I honestly think that is a big part of why people don't consider him the GOAT. His resume stands for itself, you really can't argue with his success and numbers and talent....but man...MJ (as much as he pissed me off because we couldn't beat him). Was so much more likeable. Similar feelings towards Kobe...I just enjoyed them more because they didn't come will all that other BS that LeBron does.
Also, MJ (or Kobe) never went around telling everybody "Hey, I'm the greatest, right?" like lebron does.
