I was just thinking, if Philly continues to put forwards on Brunson, I would love to see Thibs have the guys look to exploit Bojan's match up on offense at times a bit more. Maxey and Lowry cannot physically handle him.

I think he has thoughts that his knee is screwed and this may be his last chance (in Philly, at least) to win something. He may know he's endangering his knee by playing, but his need to compete may overcome his better judgment. I think he was so shaken up because he fears his dream is coming to an end. Sad for him, but not our problem.

And lost in all this 2 minute report crap is that the Knicks had regained control of the game with 5 to go and, while Maxey did step up, it's also directly because Brunson came back and continued where he left off.

But yeah I haven't lost faith in JB. It's got to be fatigue.

Philly is a city of 1.6 million people. I don't think they have the brightest or best announcers on their team channel. Of course they should know better than to do what they did. LOL

Game 3, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get our ass beat.

Philly will be coming out like it’s game 7 for them to not go down 3-0 and they’ll be ‘mad’ about this game. Plus we will be in the toxic Philly fan atmosphere.

If we can split in Philly we are in good shape.

Even the worst teams in the NBA playoffs tend to win Game 3 when down 2-0 I feel like. Sure some get swept, but if the series goes 5 games, its usually off of a game 3 win.

Its honestly funny how Sixers fans act like the missed calls meant the refs literally awarded the Knicks 3 points when in reality the Knicks needed so much more than that to go right to win the game:

Lets break it down:

-Knicks had to still hit a 3, Divo missed the first open 3
-Knicks still had to get an offensive rebound on the missed 3 through like 4 lazy Sixers not boxing out
-Knicks had to still come down with the ball, and while surrounded by Sixers somehow make the pass out to OG
-OG still had to make a perfect pass out to Divo
-Divo had to still hit a 3 to take the 1-point lead
-Knicks had to block Maxey's layup attempt
-Knicks had to hit 2 clutch FTs to make the lead 3
-Knicks had to defend an Embiid 3 at the buzzer that would've tied the game, and nearly did.

Thats 8 things other than the officiating that had to go right for the Knicks to win the game. Sixers still choked, Lowry misses a FT making it a 5 point instead of 6 point game, missed their chance to call timeout and waited too long to do so, still had to lazily not rebound the missed 3 to ice the game.

speaking of 2 minute report...I just got off the phone with my good friend from philly :lol:

He's whinning about the 2 minute report as well...The point you made KG was the same point I made. What about the Knicks (Brunson) blowing the lead and control we had
on the game...Do some of these people realize our "others" beat them WITHOUT Brunson :lol:

I said it before and I’ll say it again, other teams & fans can’t cope with losing to the Knicks specifically…especially during the playoffs. It makes them short circuit and say stupid things.

That's a charitable take but I'm leery as we have heard a number of comments from the Sixers org tantamount to them feeling like they're entitled to winning this series. Paul Reed calling us the easier team and the announcing team smugly calling it a wrap. They looked past us up until the moment the metal bats started hitting them.
