Siakam is really playing well in this series. I am wondering if Indiana can keep him this summer or not.
If Suns loses this series, does it mean a break up of the Big 3?

It's jarring watching the magic try to play so many guys in the playoffs. Nearly every team is playing 8 guys.

It's amazing that Indiana got Siakam for 2, probably mid-1st round picks and fillers.

I think game 1 games had 5 teams do it, but only one team that went over 10 deep actually won (OKC). We'll need to cut back a bit. Although last game I feel like if Suggs didn't get injured, he was poised for way more minutes.
There's a conundrum with the rotation right now, which is a bench that has helped us all year and been a strength has a few guys not doing anything at all, and our starters are still the ones getting punked in the 1st quarter, whether it was WCJ starting or Isaac starting.
We just need to commit to a hard 8 or 9 and see what happens. That's what it comes down to, is the guys out there have to just play better than they've shown. Because if we replace guys with AB and Goga in a 9 man rotation and still suck, at that point.. it's just like there's no "answer" for winning other than hitting shots and playing better.

All while Weltman and Parker did NOTHING at the deadline. So many teams around us added starters to their rosters within the last year while we added Ingles...
Boston added Porzingis and Jrue
Indy got Siakim
Milwuakee got Dame
NY got OG
Cleveland added Strus

Miami got rozier & d. Wright
Philly got hield

And thats just east
Okc got Hayward
Dallas got gafford & Washington
Phoenix got O'Neil
Minnesota got m.morris
Lakers got Dinwiddie
Some of these aren't the biggest moves but they tried and improve there teams.
The list goes on, they sat on there thumbs and did nothing. I give them one more off season. If nothing significant is done, then I don't trust them or this ownership group much longer.

The last two times the Clippers and Mavs faced off, I rooted for the Mavs. Clippers had a lot of fake tough guys like Harrell and Morris twins and Mavs were underdogs and Doncic was new blood.
But Luka has became so unlikable, Im rooting for Clippers this year.

When pressure is up, Luka delivers. That's what makes him top 3 player.
4th quater, Clippers up by 4.
I go to toilet to put eye contacts, i return 2 min later, Luka is making stepback 3 to freeze game on +3 for Mavs, next possession Irving is making contested 3. Literally asking myself wtf happened?
Down the road, in clutch, Luka makes yet another near impossible 3. Game over.
Mavs still have massive issue with center position. Even if they have average center like Capela i would put them on shortlist of contenders, behind probably only Celtics & Nuggets.
As for rest of a games, Siakam is playing great basketball. Forget (just) offense, guy is playing elite defense. People forgot he was second best player on championship team.

Yeah... the other big problem is that it doesn't solve our PG issue.
The Suns offense doesn't look any better than ours even though they have Booker, KD, and Beal... but they also don't have a PG... or a good X's and O's coach.
You know.. Booker does sometimes play PG. He handles, playmakes and make the passes. That's why when I looked at the boxscore to see the 3pt makes of Grayson, I am surprised when I see that Booker almost has a trip-dub. I watch replays/highlights and he does play PG sometimes.

Heat just hit 8 threes in the 1st quarter and that's our game total lol.

They got 9 in the first half, but they’re also shooting 9-12
Side note - Magic are ranked 6th in 3pa’s in the playoffs, only 1 less than Miami in 5th. And we’re tied for last place on 8.5 3pm’s, crazily enough tied with Phoenix who have Durant, Booker and Beal and are only averaging 25 3pa’s a game themselves.
The silver lining is just how abnormally cold some of our guys are like Cole, WCJ, Isaac and Ingles. If they all had just 1 made 3 each we’d be top 10 in 3pm’s. I think all of them are capable of being more than the zeroes they have been to date.

They're at 17 now
Somehow Miami can't or won't shoot threes during the regular season and then just light it up in the playoffs

Miami doing well to have a lead in the 3rd. That team routinely finds no-name guys who play out of their mind at just the right time.

What's really amazing is the fact that Indiana is going to give him 4/190 to lock in a team that can't get past the 2nd round.

Oh look, it's the random "Heat shoot 58% from three" game. Infuriating, I'm just down to wondering if Pat Riley is actually the devil (he does look like what I imagine the devil to look like in his human form), or just merely made a deal with the devil.

Miami has 5 guys in double digits and Boston has 2 - Tatum and Brown.
We need to play like Miami to win, but our results have been like Boston’s have been tonight.
