he's a warrior, despite some of the questionable tendencies (flopping, talking spicy). he will keep coming. shocked so many of us who idolize patrick don't see some interesting parallels on that front. dude doesn't lay down.

I want to love him because his game does remind me of Ewing in a lot of ways and he's fought through a lot physically. I have think that Ewing would have ended up with that rebound though and he would have NEVER given that sniveling "the reffing was unacceptable and we're better than them" post game interview. Patrick was a better leader even if it was as the stoic/silent type.

Rinse and repeat. Brunson should not be bringing the ball up... either Hart or DDV... to conserve JB's energy...

this is an excellent point as well -I think CS said he rewatched game 2 and saw that Brunson looked gassed...

I also agree. He's being hounded on every possession whether he's on the ball or not. It's the Julius situation all over again from a couple of years ago when he was double/triple teamed. Only difference to than and now is JB has far better role players.

What's this providing 'private information' nonsense? These games are played in public, everyone can see the calls and who made them, all it takes is someone to track them and compile the data...it's not like they are doxxing these refs' home addresses or leaking nudes.

Anyone can watch the games!!!
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

I really wonder what the intention is in putting that out there for the Knicks. Just at a glance nothing on the ref report seemed to suggest any advantage.

maybe the idea of thinking why it’s provided is the mental head game?

it has no impact

agreed fully. he's got some ungully tendencies that i think make people overlook how much of a warrior he is in other ways.

the irony of us using upfront accountability as a tactic... while they cry for... accountability after the games.

I didnt see these two games from the regular season but I went and looked at them because they were in Philly. FIrst one
Embidd was playing...

In both games the knicks led in BOTH of the first and second quarters. Compound that with what I just heard Hart and Jalen say
in the above^^^ video. They will come out with a better focus than when they were at MSG. Clearly they understand that this game 3 is a MUST get.

Again...this is going to be interesting to watch...

on edit: when I say "must get" I mean to crush them-give them no hope...

Honestly, that doesn't sound promising. I expected him to say he's been going over film like crazy to figure it out, etc. Saying "I just need to be better" doesn't really sound promising idk.

He's obviously going over film to look at missed opportunities and adjustments he can make... but it is also 100% true that he has to be more poised and "better" at the things he's normally great at. All of these things can and are true.

Return to New York Knicks
