White is the only guy I trust in the clutch for Boston. I dont know if he could create for himself, but if he gets a decent look, he’s making it.

They’re first firing the coach.
I listened to Celtics radio and then WEEI Boston postgame talk. The Celtics play by play guy was obnoxious. Every time the C’s got it within five, he start lecturing that the Heat were on the verge of a Philly collapse that they’d never come back from.
Then on the postgame show, the guys all said Mazulla sucks and the team dogged it, but that this was still only going to be a 5 game series.

But of course, let's talk about how Giannis isn't playing and the Bucks are frauds.
I’m seeing a lot of “There’s going to be a lot of hot takes on here, guys” tweets from media members who said this series was going to be a cakewalk for the Celtics.
The unbeatable juggernaut narrative is over. I know that we went through that nightmare of a series last year but it would sting even more if it was against a Jimmy Butler-less team (let’s not forget Rozier is out too).
Celtics are most likely still going to win the series but I’m glad that Miami showed how fragile they can be on any given night.
Spoelstra is a magician and Mazzulla……is Mazzulla. Maybe he has “The Town” at the ready to ease his sorrows.

It's not officially spring until the Miami Heat go into Boston and win a playoff game....lol.

As soon as Boston made all those moves in the off season, we became a match up nightmare for them on paper.
Then in the regular season that proved to be the case.
Even in my most pessimistic moments, I have never wavered from the fact that Boston would want no part of us (with Giannis of course) in a best of 7 series.
The problem is we don't play consistent enough to even sniff a trip to the ECF.

And they still have 13 first round picks over the next 6 years.

Boston losing to a Jimmyless Heat should be a morale booster for the Bucks players, who were a part of last years exit & after dropping game 2. Still can't be lackluster in game 3.

A lot more upside as a playmaker and defender. Those **** late bloomers, man.

Grayson Allen, game 82 of the RS to grab the 6th seed. Against the wolves (a few days before he faces them in the playoffs)
33 min 20/6/1/2 +15 on 8/11 shooting 3/3 on 3s. (ave vs them in RS: 19/5.7/1.3, 62% from 3, 56% overall).
Game 1 playoffs vs the wolves: 25 min 4/5/2 - 6 shooting 0/3 from 3.
Game 2 vs wolves: 17 min 3/3/1 +3 shooting 1/2. (I know he turned an ankle in the 3rd).
Suns are finding out regular season Grayson Allen and playoff Grayson Allen are two different things.
33 min 20/6/1/2 +15 on 8/11 shooting 3/3 on 3s. (ave vs them in RS: 19/5.7/1.3, 62% from 3, 56% overall).
Game 1 playoffs vs the wolves: 25 min 4/5/2 - 6 shooting 0/3 from 3.

Agreed and so far Beasley and AJ Green fit in that same boat. Maybe Green is too young and not ready for this moment but he has missed so many wide open shots.

Most catch and shoot guys never bring their regular season shooting into the playoffs. The guys with lightning quick releases, good shooting on the move, and lots of length are the ones who can sometimes hang and even then it’s iffy if they’re just shooters.
Offensive versatility is always better than good spot up shooters. Gimme a guy who’s an average at best shooter, but can get to any hand and hit a pull up or finish at the rim, over somebody who led the regular season in 3pt%, but can’t do anything when defenses start closing out hard.

I still don't think the Heat win another game. But Spoelstra is the best coach in the league by miles.
If Butler were healthy I think they beat Boston.

I didn't watch the game, but if the Miami Heat (without Butler) beat the best team in the history of the NBA at home in a playoff game, then the Heat with Butler could definitely beat them in a series.

Green is 0-4. Probably too early. More concerned that he's only gotten 4 3s off in 21 minutes, way beneath his usual rate. But his defense has been good and he has legitimate gravity out there, both far more important things. Guys have read the scouting report and that's good for us.

I still think the Celtics take it in 5 but it was sweet seeing them get smacked down at home.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Offensively he looks timid. He had so many open shots available and passed them up. Bobby too which was very weird because usually he shoots too much. Green was either too afraid to shoot and would pass up on an "easy" shot or he missed them. His defense only looks good because in comparison to most (looking at you Beasley) it is good. I think most people on here overrate his defense because most of our other players are so bad defensively. If we want defense then we need to play AJJ more but I know that won't happen.
Also, I think some people have this weird thing about Green because every time someone says anything even semi-negative about him there are a handful of people who come to his defense. The guy isn't perfect but yes he is a better defensive player than Beasley. I feel like I am back in 1995 and talking to people about Marty Conlon again.

That was really really funny. Celtics fans were clowning us hard for dropping game 2, so good of the basketball gods to do us a solid. It’s like the single game equivalent of what happened last postseason with us losing to Miami, Celtics fans laughing their ass off, then proceeding to also lose to them lol.

Just glad we'll always have "we swept your asses en route to a championship" to hang over this Miami team for all eternity. They'll still win this series, but Boston fans can't say **** until they actually win one. Spo absolutely owns those dudes.
