We, a 64-18 team just got beaten at home, by an 8 seed missing their best player and an import roleplayer, and lost homecourt because our guys couldn't execute, and properly defend like you said.

The champions set a standard. We shouldn't care how hard it is to beat the math. If we are a serious championship team, we find a way to beat the math. Period. Especially against a team like this.

More symptoms just continue to pop up.

In my eyes, a successful season is making the finals, and making it competitive. Because this squad is not beating Denver.

We can absolutely beat Denver.

If the Celtics don’t come out and blitz this Heat team then I would seriously question their heart and toughness. But I already seriously question their heart and toughness. Celtics in 6. And they should be laughed at if it goes that long.

Every year this happens. Not surprising anymore. You just kind of hope they change haha. Those other teams are on the positive end of a collapse. We on the other hand, are the ones collapsing. The last games where our starting 5 played, and got blown out by the Bucks and Knicks, shows you everything.

It's very possible that the Celtics lose this series to the Heat. They could easily lose to the Cavs and Bucks as well.

The players and the coach are the problem. A coach that wants to chuck as many 3’s, and superstar that wants to chuck as many as he can. Even newbie Jrue, chucks 3’s on a fast break with no rebounder in sight.
