2nd year in a row I'd rather have Caleb Martin than Jaylen Brown when it counts. How do the Heat keep finding guys like him and Robinson?

Caleb Martin is a horrific player vs other teams in the playoffs.

Should have gone to more switching and less drop. It is fairly clear Joe did not think Miami was going to keep hitting 3's. Having guys constantly trying to run through Bam screens is not going to work if guys get hot. With that said....the only guys that really showed up to play were JT & JB, everyone else was garbage. Might have been KP's worse game of the season and White was barely better.

I was at the game and certainly disappointed. And tempted to post terrible things about the team but instead will say now it’s a series and they can still win it. And I will single Porzingis out as having his worst game of the season by far. He plays his normal game, Boston wins. Hope for a better effort in game 3.

That is true.

JB took over when JT went cold.

There's a tendency here to make JB the "fall guy" when things don't go the Celtics way.

Defense was obviously very bad, but I believe the offense was a bigger issue. Heat had barely an above average offensive game and they made 23 threes. Our offense was just abysmal in the 2nd half.

Yup. The 101 is the problem. Heat played good physical defense and the Celtics left a lot of points on the front of the rim in the paint. Too many fadeaways and post ups that went nowhere.

Jimmy clowning the Celtics is a mistake.

Not only did it poke the bear, he just added more pressure on his teammates to win in Miami.

If the Heat get bounced in 5 games then Jimmy will be told "You only got one."

If you gave Jaylen and Jayson 6 of the 20 something shots Jrue and KP got, we would have probably won the game. Heat had nothing for either one but we insisted on giving Pritchard the ball so he could dribble baseline and back for 15 seconds or KP in the post so he could fumble the ball off his knee with Duncan Robinson guarding him.

Btw why does Tatum still come out at the 6 minute mark of these quarters? Dude should be playing 11 minutes a quarter in any game that’s even slightly close. Brown also.

A couple of seasons ago, the majority of the Celtic fans wanted the Jays to share the ball more and not take turns going 1 on 1.

Now the Jays are sharing the ball more.
