Couldn't watch any last night and was shocked to see this score. Only have box score info to go off but it seems playoff Jrue showed up too for 35 mil.

If the Celtics meet Denver in the finals, Jokic might make Porzingis retire from basketball lol. He would do very very mean things to them, especially if Horford has worn down by that point, much like he did in the later rounds of last postseason.

What are the chances that Porzingis makes it to the championship game healthy? If Horford wears down at all, they'll be playing Xavier Tillman for 30 minutes.

Re: Around The League
Spo is a good coach but he wasn't shooting 54% from 3 last night. If he gets credit for that then he gets blame for them shooting 32% in game 1. It was an anomaly. They aren't going to shoot like that 3 more times to win the series.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I’ve got quite a few Heat playoff games burned into my memory of “they can’t shoot like that again”…

I'll give him credit for scheming those guys open after watching game 1 film. Those were wide open shots.
I still wouldn't pick them to win the series, because even a mediocre coach should be able to figure out that threes is the only way Miami can win.

Yeah that's what we thought, too.

The gist I get from Celtics fans is Mazzulla doesn't qualify as mediocre.

Yup.
Exactly what I was thinking the other day.
That for all the **** we got for trading Jrue and Grayson for Dame, 2 playoff games in, it looks like we did the right thing, even if Khris and Giannis are injured right now.

Yeah that's what we thought, too.
Quick memory lane: Miami shot 52% from the field and 45% from three vs us last year.
I too remember wondering at which point the 25th ranked offence from that year would cool down.
Good luck dealing with that voodoo, Boston.

Re: Around The League
If this isn't a flagrant on Embiid, shut the league down.

He wont get thrown out but Embiid probably should be told to sit this one out. Such a stupid play from him.

Left side of Embiid's face still paralyzed ... really spooky, I hope he recovers cause it looks serious

Watching Donte absolutely kill it on another good playoff team is deeply upsetting to me.
