Its taken 3 heroic performances from Maxey and Embiid and Brunson playing poorly in the first two games, just for them to be down 2-1.

You can tell who doesn't know basketball here. Some of them are just homers and don't watch ball outside of the Knicks and think irrationally about our team.

Embiid looks like hes rounding back to form. We're already having a hard time guarding Maxey. If Embiid is near 100%.. we might be in big trouble. This is what some of us feared entering this series while the homers kept ignoring it.

Agreed. NBA is loving this matchup too much to decrease viewership for game 4. Also Mitch needed to stay on the floor longer, hold his knees, limp back to the locker room, etc. The way he popped back up didn't help the cause.

Our defense was uncharacteristically awful. I kept yelling “don’t drop” and they dropped, “play back” and they played up, “don’t foul” and they fouled, “rotate!” and they didn’t rotate. Frustrating as all hell and uncharacteristic.

I don't think the D was soft. But the refs were obviously calling **** tight for Joel and this "marginal" bull dictated how up close players could be on Joel.

When he kept hitting threes we had to adjust and force him to give up the ball at the top and we didn't. Effort doesn't always matter if you don't make the necessary strategic adjustments in time
