As long as Jokic is in the league it’s time Lebron teams up with Luka and Kyrie lol.

Maybe finally we can stop hearing about what a giant threat the Lakers are.

They haven’t been good since 2020.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Lebron goes back to the weaker East and finish his career with the Cavs.

Also I heard the Pelicans will opt to get the Lakers UNPROTECTED 2025 pick instead of 2024. The year Cooper Flagg and Ace Baily will be draft eligible.

In what world is building around a 32yr old AD and 40yr LeBron the smart thing to do?

Trade AD while his value is back high coming off a healthy season. Put some younger legs around LeBron and let him ride off into the sunset with a younger squad who can hide his age.

Should they blow it up? Yes. Will they blow it up? Probably not. They already said they will resign Bron and they will likely pursue someone like Trae which would be a mistake in my opinion.

No reason to blow it up. They have a good team. They just need to keep adding pieces to the roster.

Trade AD for KD.

KD and LeBron together will at least be more entertaining.

The smart thing to do would be to blow it up for picks and young players but Lakers FO won’t do that. They won’t trade Lebron unless LeBron asks for it and they won’t trade AD while Lebrons there. All they can do is trade the pieces around them.

Next year could be the one where Lebron teams up with Curry on GS. The league would absolutely love it. Both guys are ring hunting. The juicy narratives that both guys in the twilight of their career teamed up for one more run at a title

Good luck with that. As long as LeBron is around they will continue to talk about the Lakers. Even as a play in team they were the talk of the NBA.

ESPN basically talked about the Lakers and Warriors for most of the season. 2 bad teams who happen to have the faces of the league still.

Dinwiddie, Rui, possibly Reaves and DLo should be used as a package for something. The bench just doesn't help them. AD is playing great. Not sure why he'd be the first to go.

Also, James is participating in the Olympics. Unless he retires right after, he is going to be gassed the entire season.

They really missed the boat by not pursuing Irving in the offseason

Package for what?

That’s a pile of junk.

Knowing the way they operate probably not. If they don’t make major changes though the end result will just be the same or worse than this year. There’s no guarantee that LeBron and AD will be as healthy next year. DLO was AWOL and needs to go. Just a mess.

Lebron needs to re-sign for the minimum if he ever wants to seriously compete for a title again. He's not good enough to build a contender around anymore, and certainly not making 50 mill per season.

It's time for LeBron and KD to go to the Warriors.
