Lol, "Let Kwesi cook".

Viking fans are acting like the impatient kid who would rather have $5 today instead of $10 tomorrow.

That's crazy...and the Vikes basically trading away their entire draft next year too. Never seen anything like that.

We hit on half of these remaining picks and this team is set. I wouldn't hate one of the DBs but personally I'd be looking at LB, DT, or more oline.

Besides Kool aid and DeJean which most people want.....

If we somehow got Newton from Illinois and one of Edgerrin Cooper/Payton Wilson today I'd be happy.

Wouldn't hate Blake Fisher or Max Melton. There is so much potential out there at DT we have to take one in the 2nd or 3rd.

Give me any one of Dejean, Kool-Aid, Cooper, Colson, Newton, Wilson, Tampa, Bullock, Bishop, Bullard, Jackson. The D will be priority #1 today and there are tons of good players left.

Morgan must really be the guy they wanted, sounds like we were more than happy to sit and pick him and had no intention on moving up for the defenders that were sliding. So who knows. I do wonder, Morgan said his plan was to turn pro after last season but had the acl injury, would he have been a 1st last year if that injury never happened?

DeJean, Kool-Aid, and Edgerrin Cooper are all gonna be off the board by 41 and we're just gonna take one of the next tier corners (Tampa, Rakestraw, Melton, Lassiter), aren't we? Not really loving how the draft board has shaken out so far.

Want one of DeJean, Newton, Kool Aid, or Cooper whether it’s trade up or at 41. Stay the hell away from Tyler Nubin too. I like Bishop a lot at 58 for safety.

We have so many picks. If we really love one of those guys...or Newton then trade up.

I kind of want to see another lineman just to watch the overreaction by fans

And this is exactly what I would have wanted them to do when the best corner in the draft slid all the way to 22. I'm just not holding my breath. I do think at some point he's gonna need to start consolidating picks and grab another 3rd or something.

I think Gute will give up the 4th rounder to move up, but not one of the 3rds. If he was willing to give up a 3rd, it would have been done to move up in the 1st.

I'm thinking we would've had to trade up way in front of the teams in the 20's and Gute wasn't interested in that price. I just don't think a bunch of those teams (Steelers, Dolphins, Eagles) were looking to move down with us the way the board fell. Jags had already moved down so they probably were happy to pick. I guess it's possible we got completely outmaneuvered by the Lions jumping us and could've done a deal to jump one spot but we turned our pick pretty quickly after that.

Read on Twitter

#41 - Javon Bullard
#58 - Jackson Powers-Johnson
#88 - Austin Booker
#91 - Christian Mahogany

I like the players, not so much the draft strategy.

Read on Twitter

#41 - Edgerrin Cooper
#58 - Jaden Hicks
#88 - Jalyx Hunt
#91 - DeWayne Carter

Great second round, meh third.

Man, that first PFF mock would basically complete my nightmare-scenario draft through the first 3-rounds lol. Reach for a safety then draft a Center in Round 2 when you already reached for a tackle that you might slide inside anyways. Then go with an unathletic DE/Edge and another interior lineman in the 3rd?

Yuck

Gross

Please, no

I don't mind the Bullard pick. He can play just about every position in the secondary minus boundary Corner. The rest is underwhelming.

JPJ at 41 and slide Myers to RG fixes a lot of problems, then let Morgan battle it out with Walker. It's not sexy but damn, Josh Jacobs and Jordan Love would be happy campers.

Seems like such a huge waste TBH. Center and RG were the problem positions last year (in so much as you could call any position a problem on an offensive line that was very good on the whole). I would hope the plan is replacing either Rhyan or Myers or both, not Walker.

JPJ makes sense if they want to future proof the position and don't want to move Tom from Tackle. I could see a scenario where they just let Myers expire at the end of the year and let him walk in FA. I think it's more likely Tom shifts to center, and Morgan and Walker take an OT spot each.

That's one of the two ways the pick makes some sense to me. The other being they plan to play Morgan play at RG and worry about replacing Myers next season.

The one way it makes no sense is replacing Walker and moving him to the bench. Then the pick becomes an F.
