Our rough riders will be ready to get down into the trenches on Sunday

They do not appreciate seeing their guy Mitch done dirty like that

I'm looking forward to it

I hope we trade for him to see your reaction :D

Thanks for constantly repeating it. No one could possibly know that Embiid is a good player.

Your welcome. Do you need me to repeat again fam? :D

Just do it and then let's see what happens

Personally I think Precious might be a better fit right now.

Yes, Mitchell played great the first game but he’s still a lumbering big man. Precious is quicker and more versatile. Plus I thought he played Embiid decently.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I'm gonna preface this by saying it's all speculative since I'm foreing and I'm not up to date with exactly what you do in the USA, so take what I'm gonna say with a grain of salt.

I know that after last game there's plenty controversial topics about Embiid right now, but what I can't wrap my head around is the fact that they confirmed that he has Bell's Palsy and has been treated for it since the play-in. Now, I get that most people wouldn't know about it but the main treatment for this disease are steroids, and at high dose, or at least that's what we would do in Spain.

What baffles me about it is that, as far as I know, steroids are banned during competition in professional sports. I know for sure in Spain he wouldn't be allowed to play if he was taking them. So what I don't understand is how is nobody talking about it, as I'm sure there must be other doctors that know about this benign disease and its treatment.

Perhaps somebody with more knowledge about medical practice in the USA could tell me if you use another treatment (from what I have seen in american guidelines steroids are also first-line treatment, but I cannot be totally sure) or if in the NBA they are not banned during competition, because if it's not the case either Embiid is being infratreated if he's no taking steroids or this could be considered a doping case (since steroids have proven to enhance physical performance).

PS: Embiid's behavior yesterday could be also explained by steroid use, since at high doses it can increase irritability and cause hypomania/mania which is a condition that can make you be more reckless than usual. So, in a high-stakes play-off game it could promote this type of conduct.

I think it's actually iHart who is struggling the most. He's hitting some shots as the Brunson outlet, but he was done in by fouls earlier and Embiid was cooking him. Granted, Embiid cooks everyone, but the most we can hope for all this point is to keep throwing bodies at him, tire him out, and win as a team. That's why Mitch as an offensive rebounder is really annoying for Embiid. He just keeps throwing energy at the ball.

The blueprint for Philly has basically been: Embiid + Maxey vs Brunson and role players.

We also can't let Cam Payne and Oubre do us in like that, too. That was big on their end.

The ultimate irony of wishing for easier seeds would be Miami beating Boston and meeting us in the ECF

Anything can happen

The only thing we as fans control is our ability to support our own team one game at a time

It's not a basketball play. It's the same as tripping a guy at halfcourt who is on a breakaway

What does not excessive mean? He grabbed his leg but not that much

Not only did he pull him, he pushed him off him.

Sometimes you have to force a reaction. I think if there was a melee following Embiid’s dirty play, he would’ve probably been kicked out. It would’ve required someone like Mitch getting a technical, but an equal response was necessary. Can’t let a team get away with dirty play.

Mitch should have rolled to the ground and held his ankle and smacked the ground… woulda forced the refs to make an ejection… you know Lowry and Embiid woulda done that

He had good moments in his brief appearance, even a nice cutter slam on offense. Play him more

Did Robinson miss the rest of the game because of that particular Embiid leg pull or it was something else?

I don't think so. He stayed in the game after.

It may have happened on the play Embiid kicked hin in the nuts though. He was definitely limping after that.

series became doubtful once embiid started playing like the mvp he is

we are fortunate not to be down 1-2 right now

That's funny because I was just thinking we needed a touch of crazy eyes from Randle.
