Re: 2024 Draft Watch
Joe Milton wasn't on my radar going into the combine because he looked like trash against UGA a few months ago, but after all said and done, Milton had the best QB combine performance this year. The way the ball comes out of his hand, reminds me of Favre.

Re: 2024 Draft Watch
With Wilson to Pittsburgh, I'm getting a little nervous. It's good to cross out names as we go along, I guess.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Re: 2024 Draft Watch
With all the free agent signings and the swap of last season's starting QB, Falcons already have a QB and their draft needs seem to have changed from earlier. I've saw mock drafts with an edge rusher being our #1 first round pick.

Re: 2024 Draft Watch
I would love to get Nate Wiggins if he falls to the 2nd round, but Ladd or Mims falls to the 2nd, maybe Atlanta will have to look in drafting offense in the 2nd .

I would just roll the dice and go with Reuben Foster as the first pick
A case for Luke McCaffrey...
Back in 2017, i had TJ Watt on my short list, I liked him over Tak McKinley. TJ's film was just ok to me, the only reason why I put him on my short list was because of his brother's work ethic, JJ Watt. I was like JJ is a good pro and great work ethic, he will teach that and pass that along to TJ
I feel like the same will happen to Luke. Luke's stats and film just look ok, not great, but good chance, his dad and older brother will teach him how to study film and get his body NFL ready. Luke is project to go maybe 5th to undrafted. If Luke can turn into a sold slot receiver, it would be a solid pick for the Falcons

Re: 2024 Draft Watch
Well another horrible draft for the Falcons.
This is why, in the last 10 years, the Falcons have the worst draft record of all of the NFL teams. Falcons have the fewest pro bowlers drafted. Falcons just don't have a clue when it comes to player evaluations and decision making.
With that said, who is still on the board the Falcons really need....
DE Javontae Jean-Baptiste
DE Myles Cole
CB Decamerion Richardson
CB Dwight McGlothern
S Jaden Hicks
S Dominique Hampton
S Jaylon Carlies

I don't understand what we saw in Casey Washington but I do like the Jase McClellan pick.

Re: 2024 Draft Watch
Every pick was just horrible, but getting Zion is pretty nice.
It's very rare for a 6th or 7th round DL pick to pan out, but I have high hopes for Z.
I would like to see Zion to actually lose weight and slim down and get a Shannon Sharp, JJ Watt type of body with his 6'6 frame. It will make him more versatile and hopefully get more playing time in the next two seasons.
