Well, that was a really rough half. We're lucky Fultz gave us a surprise contribution and Franz played okay-ish. I'm very worried though, we're very much "they have it tonight or they don't" kind of team, and you can usually figure out which early on.

General first half thoughts:

- Cavs have had the best player on the floor, possibly the two best (Allen).
- Our lack of real rim protection is being exploited.
- The refs have helped the Cavs by allowing them to push, hold and grab on defense, and not on the other end HOWEVER we've committed some dumb fouls too
- Paolo was god-awful; I know inconsistency is to be expected from young players, but my lord.
- Neither team wants to shoot many threes. But the Cavs can protect the rim way better than we can.
- That last possession where we had an open 3, miss, then a great rebound opportunity but super unlucky with how the ball came off the rim was a back breaker.
- Franz was pretty good, we should've ran more of our offense through him when he has Strus on him
- We played our full bench lineup early in the 2nd again, but somehow got away with it. Fultz actually made a few positive plays.

Changed up where I'm watching and some other things for good luck (and so I can curse with impunity). I hope we can come back, but I'm very very worried right now. I knew the 1pm starts often throw us off, sadly so far I'm right.

Looking at this series so far a few things are clear to me, one we definitely need a center....one that's strong on the glass and defensively

He's playing against 2 gigantic guys who are elite rebounder. This is more of a gang rebounding situation rather than on guy who can grab all the boards.

Plus, the perimeter defense when it comes to penetration has been lackluster. A rim protector can only do so much when he has to account for a Mitchell drive, whilst also having a Mobley or Allen rolling to the rim.

The rotations have to be better.

i felt that way before the series we still need a center because carter isn't cutting it but yeah i agree point of attack hasn't been great...the amount of penetration our guards are allowing is causing all the breakdowns
